Danny Rowe DANNY ROWE RETURNS

The Club confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that Rotherham United defender Danny Rowe had signed a permanent three year deal with Wanderers. The 19 year old spent three loan spells with the Wanderers having originally joined in March 2014. He rejoined again at the start of the 2014/15 season but was recalled by The Millers at the end of September 2014 because of injury problems for Steve Evans' side. However, despite being named as substitute on several occasions, he failed to make a Football League appearance for United and returned to Adams Park on a new deal that originally ran until 3 January 2015 but was extended until May 2015. However, the form of fellow centre-backs Alfie Mawson and Aaron Pierre restricted his appearances, with just two appearances coming in 2015 - and his was recalled again in April 2015. His complete playing record with Wanderers is 24 apperances and no goals. His move from Rotherham includes a compensation agreement between the two clubs.
News SUMMER SIGNING #4

Striker Jason Banton became Wanderers' fourth signing of the close season after the Club confirmed the 22 year old had joined on an 'initial one year deal'. The former Arsenal Youth teamer was released by Plymouth Argyle at the end of the 2014/15 campaign and scored the last minute goal in the Play-Off Semi-Final First Leg against Wycombe at Home Park in May 2015. He spent a season with The Pilgrims, scoring two League goals in 40 appearances. He originally made his Football League debut during a loan spell with Burton Albion in September 2011.
Trust News TRUST FORUM ANNOUNCED
(Monday 29th June 2015)
Wycombe Wanderers Trust have confirmed a Members meeting to be held on Tuesday 7th July 2015 in the Vere Suite at Adams Park. The purpose of the meeting is described by the Trust as to 'update you on progress being made in the Club and to outline plans for the future. Some changes to the Trust and Club boards are being made to facilitate delivery of the plans and these will be covered.' COTN understands that the Football Club Board will be realigned to have two or three Trust representatives, plus up to two non-Trust representatives, in addition to existing Chairman Andrew Howard. The meeting starts at 7.30pm.
Anthony Stewart STEWART RETURNS
(Friday 26th June 2015)
Central defender Anthony Stewart rejoined Wanderers on Friday - signing a two year deal with Wycombe following his release from Crewe Alexandra. Now 22 years old, Stewart originally left Wycombe in May 2014 to seek a higher League club but it took until November 2014 before he was taken on by Crewe where he made just two starts and eight sub appearances.

Matchday MANSFIELD HOME MOVED
(Wednesday 24th June 2015)
The Club confirmed that the scheduled 'League Two' meeting with Mansfield Town at Adams Park has been brought forward 24 hours to Good Friday 25th March 2016 with a 3pm kick-off. A statement on the official website said 'The club have agreed to the Stags’ request to bring it forward by 24 hours, which will allow more time for recovery and preparation for Wycombe’s Easter Monday fixture away to Notts County.'

The Club have revealed their full pre-season programme with games now added away to Basingstoke and Aldershot. As previously reported, it's understood the intention was to have a home match on Saturday 1st August 2015 but it was notpossible to secure suitable opponents. The full list is as follows:
Thur 16th July - US Avranches (France) - away - KO 6.30pm*
* local time in France - 7.30pm UK
Tues 21st July - Wealdstone - away - KO 7.45pm
Tues 28th July – Basingstoke Town - away - KO 7.45pm
Sat 1st August – Aldershot Town - away - KO 3pm
A 'behind closed doors' friendly, away from home, has also been arranged for the weekend of 25th July.
News CLUB SEEK COMMERCIAL PRO
(Monday 22nd June 2015)
The Club launched a recruitment drive on Friday (19th June 2015) looking for a 'Head of Commercial Activities'. The role has been described as somebody who would 'take total ownership of income generation from the commercial sector for Wycombe Wanderers Football Club'. The new role would report to the Chairman of the Football Club (currently Andrew Howard). The proposed appointment would be the first role of the this type since the Club became Trust owned in May 2012 but follows on from a series of similar roles under the previous structures at the Club, with the most recent position of Chief Excecutive, Paul Harrison, departing in April 2010.
Trust News TRUST RESIGNATION
(Friday 19th June 2015)
News confirmed on Friday (19th June) was that Trust Board member David Roberton had resigned from his position and consequently stepped down from his position on the Board of Directors of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club. An email to Trust members also said, "The structure of the boards of both the Trust and the Football Club will be discussed at the Trust board meeting on Thursday 25th June 2015, and the outcome of these discussions will be communicated to members via a meeting which will be announced shortly. The last year has seen strong improvements on and off the field for WWFC and the aim is to agree structures which continue the development of Wycombe Wanderers as a Trust owned club. It is the sole aim of all parties for the club to continue as wholly Trust owned". Roberton had been involved at Board level since 2004 and was one of two Trust representatives on the Football Club Board. Prior to the meeting on 25th June 2015, David Cook remains the sole Trust representative ahead of the restructing that is expected to see at least two non-Trust people co-opted onto the F.C. Board.
Steven Craig CRAIG RELEASE CONFIRMED
(Wednesday 17th June 2015)
The release of out of contract striker Steven Craig was confirmed on Wednesday afternoon. The 34 year was said to be in talks with Wanderers regarding an extension to his contract but the Scottish born player revealed through social media his departure and this was later confirmed by the Club. Although struggling with consistency at Wycombe he scored vital goals in both the miracle escape from relegation in May 2014 and then on the way to the Play-Off Final twelve months later. He made 69 appearances for Wycombe, scoring 8 times.

News LEAGUE FIXTURES OUT
(Wednesday 17th June 2015)
Wanderers will host York City on the opening day of the 2015/16 Football League season (Saturday 8th August 2015) after the full fixture list was released on Wednesday morning. Wycombe opened the 2012/13 season at York with a 3-1 victory. The first away League game will be the following Saturday (15th August) when Wanderers travel to Conference Champions Barnet. This is quickly followed by a midweek trip to Morecambe on Tuesday 18th August 2015. The holiday fixtures included a reverse of the 2014/15 Boxing Day match, with Wanderers travelling to Luton Town this time around. Easter Monday (28th March) will see Wycombe travel to Notts County. The local derbies with Oxford United are scheduled for Saturday 19th December 2015 at Adams Park, with the away trip taking place on the final regular Football League day of the season on Saturday 7th May 2016.

Football League Cup FULHAM IN LEAGUE CUP
(Tuesday 16th June 2015)
Wanderers will host Fulham in the First Round of the Football League Cup after the draw was made on Tuesday morning. Wycombe last met Fulham in the 2nd Round of the League Cup in September 2006 where first half goals from Jermaine Easter and Tommy Mooney set Wanderers on their way to a 2-1 victory and a place in the Third Round for the first time ever. The one legged tie will take place on Tuesday 11th August.
News SUMMER SIGNING #2
(Monday 15th June 2015)
Left sided defender Ryan Sellers became Wycombe's second summer signing, teaming up with Gareth Ainsworth's side on a one year deal following his release from Bolton Wanderers. The 20 year old spent most of May training with Wycombe, with Ainsworth commenting: "Ryan showed a lot of promise during his time training with us and we believe he has a lot of potential which we can help him fulfil, so it's great to have him on board." Originally with Barnet and Leyton & Wingate, in 2013 he was selected to join the Nike Academy based at the FA National Centre before signing youth terms with Bolton where he played for their U21 side but couldn't break into their First Team.

34 year old forward Garry Thompson became Wanderers' first signing of the close season when he signed on a two year deal from Notts County on the afternoon of Monday 15th June. The former Morecambe, Scunthorpe United and Bradford City player has bagged more than 100 goals in a senior career stretching close to 600 games and enjoyed promotion campaigns with both The Shrimps (2007) and The Bantams (2013).

Saturday 13th June 2015 marks the 20th anniversary of the day that Martin O'Neill opted to leave Wanderers in favour of then Division One side Norwich City. SEASON TICKETS UPDATE
(Friday 12th June 2015)
The Club revealed on Thursday (11th June 2015) that Season Ticket sales for the 2015/16 season were 'more than 1,500' and were '50% higher than at the same stage last season'. Total sales for the 2014/15 were around 2,000 and the Club hope to surpass this figure with more than six weeks to go before the opening game of the season on Saturday 8th August 2015. Season Tickets are on sale at a 10% discount until 31st July 2015.

Football League Cup LEAGUE CUP SEEDING & DRAW
(Tuesday 9th June 2014)
The draw for the First Round of the Football League Cup has been confirmed for 10am on Tuesday 16th June. The draw is seeded but unlike previous seasons will not be regionalised (north and south). The draw will pair Wanderers with one of the 36 seeded clubs from: Burnley, Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers, Blackpool, Bolton Wanderers, Bradford City, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Bristol City, Burnley, Cardiff City, Charlton Athletic, Chesterfield, Derby County, Fleetwood Town, Fulham, Gillingham, Huddersfield Town, Hull City, Ipswich Town, Leeds United, Middlesbrough, Millwall, MK Dons, Nottingham Forest, Peterborough United, Preston North End, QPR, Reading, Rochdale, Rotherham United, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Swindon Town, Wigan Athletic and Wolves. The one legged tie will take place week commencing 10th August.
Peter Murphy MURPHY LEAVES FOR SHRIMPS
(Thursday 4th June 2015)
Midfielder Peter Murphy has left Wanderers to join fellow League Two side Morecambe. The surprise moves comes after the 25 year sought regular First Team football and negotiated an early departure from his two year contract with Wycombe having joined last summer from Accrington Stanley. He bagged seven goals for Wycombe in the opening 15 League games of the season but his winning goal at Oxford United in November 2014 turned out to be his last goal. He totalled 47 appearances for Wycombe.
