COBBLERS GAME MOVED
(Thursday 27th June 2013)
The Club have confirmed that the scheduled home meeting with Northampton Town for the 2013/14 season has been brought forward 24 hours to Friday 18th April 2014 (kick-off 3pm). A short Club statement read, "The fixture has been moved to allow extra recovery time ahead of Easter Monday's (21st April 2014) trip to Fleetwood Town" No other changes to the 2013/14 fixture list have been announced to date. |

JP BACK AT AP

Jon-Paul Pittman has returned to the Wanderers for his second spell at the Club following his release from local rivals Oxford United. The now 26 year old has signed a one year deal. He originally joined the Wanderers in January 2009 from Crawley Town, going on to score 17 goals in 82 appearances during a two and half year stay at Adams Park. He was released at the end of the 2010/11 promotion winning campaign by then Wycombe Manager Gary Waddock. In two years at United he scored 6 goals in 35 appearances, with 23 of those from the bench. In a generally unhappy time with The U's he also returned for a brief loan spell with Crawley - scoring one goal in four appearances. |

GRANT JOINS YEOVIL

Attacking midfielder Joel Grant has joined 'Championship' side Yeovil Town after turning down a contract offer from the Wanderers. The Glovers were promoted to the second tier of English football at the end of the 2012/13 campaign after beating Brentford in the play-off final at Wembley. 25 year old Grant, who had also been linked with a move to Ipswich Town, joined Wycombe on a free in the summer of 2011 from Crewe and went on to make 77 First Team appearances, scoring on 16 occasions. |

COWAN-HALL SIGNS

Wanderers have signed winger Paris Cowan-Hall on a free transfer from Plymouth Argyle. The 22 year old has agree a two year deal with Wycombe. The Hillingdon born player orginally played as youngster with Rushden & Diamonds before a move to then Premier League Portsmouth in 2007. However, he failed to make a competitive First Team appearance for Pompey and spent time on loan at Grimbsy, before being released by Portsmouth in July 2010. He went to have a short term deal with Scunthorpe United before a brief return to Rushden on loan in February 2011. In August 2011 he joined Woking, going on to score 13 times in 36 Conference appearances. His goal scoring exploits earned him another shot in the Football League when he joined Plymouth in the summer of 2012, with Argyle having to pay Woking compensation because of his age. He scored 5 goals in 45 apps for The Pilgrims. Commenting on his move , he said, "It was a no-brainer for me and it’s somewhere I’m wanted as well" |

McCOY SIGNS NEW DEAL

Right-back Marvin McCoy has signed a new one year deal with the Wanderers running until June 2014.
The 24 year old joined Wycombe in the summer of 2010 from non-League Wealdstone and has since gone on to make 68 First Team appearances. Commenting on the deal, McCoy said "I’m very pleased to be staying as Wycombe are a club close to my heart." He added "From when I got offered the contract, I knew I wanted to stay and this is the club I wanted to play for next season." |

LEAGUE FIXTURES OUT
(Wednesday 19th June 2013)
Wanderers will host Morecambe on the opening day of the 2013/14 Football League season after the full fixture list was released at 9am on Wednesday morning. Wycombe will play The Shrimpers on Saturday 3rd August before hosting Leicester City the following Tuesday in the First Round of the Football League Cup. Wycombe will then travel to Wimbledon the following Saturday (10th August) for their first away fixture of 2013/14. Wanderers will complete the regular Football League season on Saturday 3rd May with a trip to Torquay United

KEWLEY-GRAHAM NEW DEAL

Wanderers midfielder Jesse Kewley-Graham has signed a new deal with the Club running until June 2014. The 20 year old former Youth Teamer made his First Team debut for Wycombe in January 2012 but had to wait until last season before adding to that total - making a further 9 appearances before the end of the campaign. He had previously spent time on loan at Conference South side Havant & Waterlooville, while he also spent time on loan at Staines Town during the 2011/12 season. |

LEICESTER IN LEAGUE CUP
(Monday 17th June 2013)
Wanderers will play Leicester City at home in the seeded and regionalised First Round of the Football League Cup following the draw made on Monday morning (17th June). The game is due to take place the week commencing Monday 5th August (the week after the Football League season gets underway). The meeting with City will evoke memories of the FA Cup Quarter-Final tie between the two sides in March 2001 when Wanderers sensationally won 2-1 at Filbert Street. Last season Wycombe went out at the First Round stage - losing 1-0 away to Watford after extra-time. Meanwhile, Championship side City were dumped out 4-2 at home to Burton Albion in the Second Round. In the League The Foxes finished 6th before losing to Watford in the play-off semi-finals. |

ROYALS DEFENDER ON LOAN
(Friday 14th June 2013)
Wanderers have signed 19 year old right-back Nick Arnold on a season long loan from Reading. Arnold, is a product of the Youth system at Reading and signed a new deal with the Royals shortly before agreeing the loan move to Wycombe.
He has yet to make a First Team appearance for the Royals but Gareth Ainsworth commented, "I’m excited to be working with him, having watched him play a number of times for Reading U21s last season. I feel he’s got something. He can play anywhere on the right, is energetic and has pace and strength. Hopefully he can follow in the footsteps of the successful loan signings we had last year." |

WINFIELD OPTS FOR SHREWS

Central defender Dave Winfield has turned down a new contact offer from Wycombe in favour of joining 'League One' Shrewsbury Town. The now 25 year old joined Wanderers for £25,000 from Aldershot Town in the summer of 2010 and totalled exactly 100 First Team apps while at Adams Park, netting on 6 occasions. Commenting on his move to the Shrews official website, Winfield said "I don't think there's a footballer out there who doesn't want to improve and make leaps and bounds in their career. There was quite a lot of interest but what I want to do is play as high as I can and Shrewsbury is a good club." |
