2011/12 ACCOUNTS FILED
(Friday 31st May 2013)
The Club have filed their accounts for the year ending 30th June 2012. The period covers the year leading up to the takeover by the Trust. Key figures revealed include an operating loss of £0.6m after a profit on player sales of almost £0.982m. Meanwhile £3.9mworth of loans from Steve Hayes were waived during the transfer of the Club to the newly formed companies involved with running the Club, leaving an outstanding loan of £2m at the date of transfer. COTN understands the filing of the accounts with Companies House now leads the way to lift the transfer embargo that would have resulted from the late filing of the accounts, that were due to be filed by the end of March 2013. Accounts for the previous season (2010/11) were filed in July 2012.

News KRETZSCHMAR NEW DEAL
(Friday 24th May 2013)
Former Youth Teamer Max Kretzschmar has signed a new one-year with the Wanderers. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder has yet to make his First Team bow for Wycombe but has impressed ever since joining the Club at the age of 14, including captaining the U18 side to victory in the Youth Alliance Cup in May 2011. Commenting on his new deal, he said to wwfc.com, "I’ve been in love with the club since the day I joined and I just want to keep it going. Seeing Josh (Scowen) play 30 or 40 games last season inspires you to do what he’s doing, Jesse (Kewley-Graham) as well. Hopefully I can get on the bench a bit more, make my debut and get some appearances under my belt."
News 'KEEPER RESIGNED
(Thursday 23rd May 2013)
18 year old goalkeeper Charlie Horlock has rejoined the Club after being released by Stevenage in the summer. Horlock was originally part of Wanderers youth system, joining the Club aged 16, but switched to Stevenage in the summer of 2012 after the controversial closure of the youth set-up at Adams Park. Horlock commented to the media, "It’s brilliant to be coming back and I know from last time that there’s a great group here. I’m so happy". Manager Garerth Ainsworth added, "His work-rate and attitude is superb for such a young man. He wants to learn and be around the place. To have players like him around place is infectious and the more you have, the better it is for the Club." Ainsworth says Horlock will feature in the pre-season games but with Matt Ingram remaining the first choice between the sticks.
Shirt EA SPORTS SHIRT DEAL
(Wednesday 22nd May 2013)
The Club announced today (Wednesday 22nd May 2013) that they have signed a sponsorship deal with EA Sports that will see ‘EA SPORTS FIFA 14’ printed on the front of the change shirt and also feature on the reverse of the first choice 'home' kit. The deal follows the announcement earlier in the same month that Samsung were to take over the sponsorship on the front of the 'home' kit. Computer giants EA Sports, like Samsung, also have shirt sponsorship deals with Leyton Orient and Swindon Town.
News ANGOL NEW DEAL
(Wednesday 22nd May 2013)
18 year old Lee Angol has agreed a new one-year deal with the Wanderers. The forward joined Wycombe from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2012 but after making his pro debut as substitute in the League Cup tie at Watford in August 2012, was limited to a further three apps before spending the latter part of the campaign on loan at Hendon where he scored three goals in ten apps. He commented to the official website, “I’m chuffed to be honest. Last season was a difficult one for me and for the team I suppose, so this one is going to be big one for both of us. The loan helped me a lot in terms of match fitness and getting me physically aware of the game. Having Junior (Morias) there with me also helped, I enjoyed it and learnt a lot."
WINDING UP DISMISSED
(Monday 13th May 2013)
A statement by the Club released on Monday (13th May) regarding the court appearance relating to the Winding Up Petition served by the HMRC read, "Wycombe Wanderers can confirm that the club has settled its outstanding tax bill with HM Revenue & Customs. Wanderers were represented in the High Court today where the winding up petition that they faced was dismissed. Joint-chairman Don Woodward said: “The High Court hearing was a formality and we would like to thank HMRC for their cooperation. A lot of work has gone on behind the scenes to ensure the club can progress and we are confident that plans are in place to make this happen.” The exact figure of the bill has not been revealed but has been fully covered by the £350,000 sale of the Club's training facilty to an, as yet, unknown consortium said to be 'life long' Wanderers supporters.
Dean Morgan MORGAN NEXT TO SIGN
(Monday 13th May 2013)
The Club confirmed on Monday (13th May) that Dean Morgan has agreed a new one year deal with the Wanderers. The 29 year signed for Wycombe in September from Chesterfield in what was originally described as a 'short term contract'. He went on to score nine goals in 35 appearances during his first season at the Club. Other contract news has seen midfielder and former Youth Teamer Emmanuel Ighorae released. The 18 year old failed to make a First Team appearance during his time with the Club.
Matt Bloomfield BLOOMFIELD SIGNS AGAIN
(Thursday 9th May 2013)
Matt Bloomfield has agreed a new deal with the Wanderers that will take him into his tenth season with the Club. Bloomfield, now 29, signed for Wycombe on free from Ipswich Town in December 2003 under Tony Adams and hassince clocked up 288 First Team apps, although injury restricted his First Team shows to just four last season. However, he says his rehabilitation is going and hopes to be fully fit to start the pre-season friendlies in early July.
Newport County NEWPORT RETURN TO LEAGUE
(Sunday 5th May 2013)
Wanderers will renew aquaintances with Newport County during the 2013/14 season after the Welsh club returned to the Football League following their Conference Play-Off Final victory over Wrexham at Wembley on Sunday afternoon. In front of 16,346 attendance, the game was goalless with just four minutes of normal time remaining but a great strike from Christian Jolley and a stoppage time goal from Aaron O’Connor sent the County fans wild. Their return to the Football League comes 25 years after they were relegated from the old Fourth Division before playing Wanderers twice the following season in the Conference. However, financial problems meant they never finished that season with Wycombe's two victories against the South Wales side being expunged from the official records. Perhaps more famously (for Wycombe) the two sides met each other in the First Round of the FA Cup at Loakes Park during the 1973/74 season where two goals from Steve Perrin and another from Welshman Dylan Evans saw, then Isthmian League, Wanderers earn their first ever victory over over a Football League club.

News CONTRACTS - GOING
(Thursday 2nd May 2013)
Grant Basey is the most experienced player to be shown the door at Adams Park as Gareth Ainsworth starts his squad rebuilding excersise for the 2013/14 season. Basey joined Wanderers in October 2011 - making 33 First Team apps before the close of that season. But the current campaign has been injury hit with just four apps and none since September 2012. Youngsters Olly Taylor, George Ehui and Dennis Oli are also released. Former Youth Teamer Taylor made his First Team debut under Waddock and was given his first start in Ainsworth's first game as caretaker Manager at Dagenham. Ehui is another Youth Teamer in his first pro season with the Club and is being released having made three sub apps (all under Ainsworth). Oli joined Wanderers on a free from Gillingham in the summer of 2012 but made just 10 apps over the course of the season.
News CONTRACTS - STAYING
(Thursday 2nd May 2013)
Gareth Ainsworth has wasted no time in revealing news about some of the squad who are out of contract this summer. Youngsters Junior Morias, Lee Angol and Max Kretzschmar have all been offered new one deals. 17 year old Morais made his First Team debut as substitute in Ainsworth first game in charge at Dagengham on 29 September and went on to total 19 apps as sub in the Football League plus two starts and a further sub appearance in cup competitions. Former Spurs trainee Angol joined Wanderers in the summer of 2012 under Gary Waddock but made just fours sub apps and none under Ainsworth. Meanwhile, Kretzschmar is a former Youth Team captain for the Wanderers but has yet to get his chance at First Team level.
New shirt NEW SHIRT DEAL
(Wednesday 1st May 2013)
The Club announced a prestigious new shirt sponsorship deal on Wednesday (1st May) with electronic giants Samsung. The deal has been struck with Samsung Electronics UK and ties in with Wycombe being involved with the 'Win A Pro Contract' nationwide competition that gives amateur footballers at the grassroots of the game the opportunity to win a one-year professional playing contract. Wanderers are the third club to sign up for the deal, now starting its fourth season, following previous partnerships with Swindon Town and Leyton Orient. The Samsung logo will appear on the front of the new 'first choice' kit, which will return to quarters for the start of the 2013/14 campaign, while the Samsung logo will appear on the back of the 'second choice' kit, with another deal being sought for the front.
