Danny ROWE Defender Released
After months of speculation, the Club announced on Wednesday 25th October 2017 that defender Danny Rowe had left Wanderers by 'mutual consent due to personal circumstances.' His only appearance this season had been in the home League Cup defeat to Fulham and his non-selection in the matchday squad had been the subject of debate with many Wanderers followers. Rowe, who was 22 the day before the annoucement, joined Wanderers on a three year deal from Rotherham in the summer of 2015 having previously spent two loan spells with Wycombe - including being part of the team that escaped relegation at Torquay on the final day of the 2013/14 season. Having seemingly fallen out of First Team consideration back in December 2016 (playing his last League game in October 2016), he was loaned to Barrow for the remainder of the 2016/17 season. He made 54 First Team appearances and scored once during his time at Adams Park.
