Wycombe Wanderers announced the signing of 26-year-old striker Beryly Lubala following the expiry of his contract with fellow League One side Burton Albion. The Democratic Republic of the Congo born player, more commonly known as 'Bez', is former academy player with Birmingham City - going on to make 5 senior appearances before a move to League Two Crawley Town in the summer of 2019. Netting 13 goals in 41 apps for Crawley, prompted a three season stint at Blackpool but First Team opportunties became limited on The Tangerines promotion to the Championship in 2021. Consequently he spent time on loan at Northampton Town and Colchester United. He was released by Blackpool at the end of the 2022/23 campaign and eventually joined Burton Albion on a short-term deal in September 2023. He scored six times for Albion in 26 appearances, including an impressive strike against Wycombe in the 1-1 draw at Burton on 6th January 2024. He was allocated No.30 in the Wanderers squad for the remainder of the 2023/24 campaign External links: Wikipedia Soccerbase
