Dominic GAPE Midfield Released (out of contract)
The Club announced on 18th May 2023 that Dominic Gape would be released from Wycombe Wanderers when his contract expired at the end of June 2023. Gape had been with the Wanderers for close to seven years, totally just over 200 appearances. He originally signed on loan from Southampton in August 2016, before the deal was made permanent in the January 2017 transfer window. He became a regular in the Wycombe squad under Gareth Ainsworth and will be fondly remembered for netting the crucial match winning goal at Chestefield in April 2018 that sealed Wanderers' automatic promotion to 'League One'. He was subsequently an important member of the squad that secured promotion to the Championship in July 2020 via a famous play-off victory over Oxford United at Wembley. The following three seasons would see injuries affect his availabilty, leading to the decision by new Wycombe boss Matt Bloomfield to release then then 28-year-old.

Lewis WING Midfield Turned down new deal
The Club announced on 10th May 2023 that midfielder Lewis Wing would be 'seeking pastures new' having seemingly turned down the option of a contract extension with Wycombe Wanderers. His 40 yard goal at Portsmouth on the final day of the 2022/23 season, turned out to be his final game too for Wycombe Wanderers. The goal was his 9th of the season, leaving him as joint top scorer of the season for Wanderers - along side Anis Mehmeti (who had departed to Bristol City in the January 2023 transfer window). Wing joined Wycombe on transfer dealine day, January 2022, having been released by Middlesbrough. He quickly impressed in the Wanderers side under Gareth Ainsworth and had totalled 63 appearances and netted 11 goals by the time of his departure in May 2023 - aged 27.

Nick FREEMAN Midfield Turned down new deal
The Club announced on 10th May 2023 that along with fellow midfielder Lewis Wing, Nick Freeman would also be 'seeking pastures new' having seemingly turned down the option of a contract extension with Wycombe Wanderers. The news brought to an end a close to seven year spell with Wanderers, having joined the Club under Gareth Ainsworth as an unattached 20-year-old. He was patient with his progress with Wycombe, taking in a loan spell with Wealdstone before featuring in the promotion sides of 2018 and 2020. A further loan spell with Leyton Orient during the 2020/21 campaign, seemed to signal an end to his time with Wycombe but he returned to First Team action at Adams Park, only to suffer a serious leg injury in August 2021 that would side-line the player for more than 12 months. Remarkably, he would make close to 50 First Team appearances for Wanderers in the 2022/23 season but with more than half of those coming from the bench, appeared to have decided to seek better opportunities of First Team starts elsewhere. He finished his time with Wycombe with 178 appearances to his name and 9 goals.

Daryl HORGAN Forward Released (out of contract)
The Club announced on 10th May 2023 that out of favour striker Daryl Horgan would be released from Wycombe Wanderers when his contract expired at the end of June 2023. He would go on to score on his debut - netting in the Football League Cup defeat to Brentford on 6th September 2020 but he would not score again that season as Wanderers were relegated back to League One. Despite caps for Ireland during his time at Adams Park, he could not find his scoring touch, scoring just a single goal from 42 appearances in 2021/22. With a similar story in 2022/23, the then 30-year-old was loaned to League Two Stevenage in Janaury 2023 for the remainder of the campaign, with his final Wycombe appearance behind him.

The 20-year-old, who has experience with both the England U19 and U20 teams, had been on loan at League One Peterborough United for the opening half of the 2022/23, having joined Posh on a season long deal. However, that deal was cut short on 16 January 2023 having made just one First Team appearance (a 2-1 Football League Trophy defeat to Stevenage) and only one other inclusion in the First Team matchday squad, during an injury hit spell at the London Road club.
Prior to his move to Wycombe, his only First Team outings for Hull City came when he was called on as substitute in the Championship game at QPR on 19 February 2022, followed by a start, three days later, in the 2-0 home defeat to Barnsley.
