20-year-old goalkeeper Tyla Dickinson was announced as a new signing for Wanderers on 4th August 2021 having trained with Wycombe during pre-season and then appearing in Development Squad matches to earn his deal at Adams Park. His move came after he had been released by Queens Park Rangers where he had been since he was a schoolboy. His time at Loftus Road also saw loan spells at Stotfold, Beaconsfield Town, Hendon, Waltham Abbey and Northwood. He signed an initial one-year deal with Wycombe and was allocated the No.30 shirt in the Wanderers squad for the 2021/22 campaign. In October 2021 he moved on loan to National League side Hayes & Yeading United where he would go on to make seven League appearances. Although he failed to make any First Team appearances for Wycombe during the 2021/22 season, he was offered and signed an one year extension to his contract at Adams Park. His opportunity then came in the opening game of the 2022/23 season when Wanderers' plans to sign a recognised replacement for the departed David Stockdale were put on hold - allowing Dickinson to make his Football League debut and subsequently keeping a clean-sheet in the 3-0 victory over Burton Albion on 30th July 2022. He made three further League starts before Wanderers signed Max Stryjek to take over first choice goalkeeping duties.
