21-year-old forward D'Mani Mellor signed for Wycombe Wanderers on 4th July 2022 following his release from Manchester United. He had been on the books at Old Trafford since the age of 8 and went on to appear for the United U21 side before making his First Team debut in a UEFA Europa League match versus Astana on 28th November 2019. A knee injury ruled him out for the complete 2020/21 season before a loan spell with Salford City the following campaign was cut short due to more injury problems. The length of his contract was not revealed at the time of signing but was later assumed to run until June 2024. He was allocated No.21 in the Wanderers squad for the 2022/23 season and made his First Team debut for Wycombe on the opening day of the 2022/23 season when he appeared as a substitute in the 3-0 victory over Burton Albion at Adams Park on Saturday 30th July 2022. He scored his first goal in the 2-1 Football League Cup victory at Northampton on 9th August 2022. In January 2023 he was loaned to then League Two side Rochdale until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
