Scott BROWN Goalkeeper Released
The Club confirmed on 10th May 2018 that the goalkeeper would be released by Wanderers from a contract due to at the end of June 2018. Originally joined Wanderers in July 2016 but was injured in his debut and had to sit out most of the 2016/17 campaign - making just 4 appearances. In stark contrast, ever present in the League during the promotion winning 2017/18 season before requesting to Manager Gareth Ainsworth that an offer had come in to play for a club nearer to his home. The deal was later confirmed to be a two year offer from Port Vale.

Will DE HAVILLAND Defender Released
The Club confirmed on 10th May 2018 that the defender would be released by Wanderers from a contract due to at the end of June 2018. The now 23 year old joined Wanderers in the summer of 2016 from Sheffield Wednesday. He made 16 League appearances for Wycombe during the 2016/17 season, with a further 7 appearances in cup competitions. Loaned to Aldershot for a month in August 2017 but returned to Adams Park to make a further 6 appearances. Spent time on loan at Maidstone United during the second-half of the 2017/18 campaign, making 10 appearances, before being recalled by Wanderers during the final run-in to the season.

Max MULLER Defender Released
The Club confirmed on 10th May 2018 that the defender would be released by Wanderers from a contract due to at the end of June 2018. The German born defender had joined Wanderers in July 2016 - making 12 appearances in his first season at Adams Park before spending the vast majority of the 2017/18 season on loan at fellow League Two side Morecambe.

Will DE HAVILLAND (loan out) Defender Loan to Maidstone United
The Club confirmed on 16th February 2018 that central defender Will De Havilland had moved to National League side Maidstone United on a loan for the remainder of 2017/18 season. The now 23 year old joined Wanderers in the summer of 2016 from Sheffield Wednesday. He made 16 League appearances for Wycombe during the 2016/17 season, with a further 7 appearances in cup competitions. Loaned to Aldershot for a month in August 2017 but returned to Adams Park to make a further 6 appearances. Commenting on the deal, Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: "We have really strong competition for places throughout the team but particularly in defence, with a couple of players close to returning from injury, so there’s an opportunity for Will to go and get minutes under his belt at Maidstone. He did really well in the same division at Aldershot earlier in the season and we’ll keep a close eye on his progress to see how he’s getting on." The deal with Maidstone included a recalled clause and this was invoked on 16th April 2018 due to Wanderers injury problems in defence. He had made 10 appearances for Maidstone.

Curtis THOMPSON (loan in) Defender Loan from Notts County
The Club announced on Friday 26th January 2018 that 24 year old midfielder Curtis Thompson had signed on loan for the remainder of the 2017/18 season. Prior to the loan he had scored two goals in 83 League appearance for County having been released from Leicester City in the summer of 2009, where he joined as a school boy aged 12. He had not played a Football League game for County during 2017/18 but made 13 appearances the previous season and 26 in 2015/16. He was allocated No.29 in the Wanderers squad.

Randell WILLIAMS (loan in) Defender Loan from Watford
Wanderers announced the loan signing of Watford striker Randell Williams on Friday 19th January 2018. The deal for the 21-year-old will run for the remainder of the 2017/18 campaign. Williams was originally a youngster with Tottenham Hotspur but started his senior football with Tower Hamlets in the ninth tier of English football before being signed by Crystal Palace as a winger in January 2016. However, he was released from The Eagles in the summer of 2017 and then picked up by Watford shortly afterwards. Featured for The Hornets U23 side but didn’t net his first goals until switching to a more central position in November 2017. Williams was allocated the No.24 in the Wanderers squad.

Nathan McGINLEY (loan in) Defender Loan from Middlesbrough
The Club confirmed on Saturday 13th January 2018 that the loan signing of Middlesbrough central defender Nathan McGinley had been completed before the close of the January transfer window the previous day. The 21 year old has been with Boro since the age of 9 and has progressed through the youth ranks into their U23 side. Without a First Team appearance with Boro but made three appearances in the Football League Trophy earlier in 2017/18. He was allocated the No.15 in the Wanderers squad ahead of the home match with Colchester on Saturday 13th January 2018.

Tafari MOORE (loan in) Defender Loan from Arsenal
The Club announced on Friday 12th January 2018 that 20 year old Arsenal defender Tafari Moore had been brought in on loan until the end of the 2017/18 campaign. Joining Arsenal as a 12 year old, the attacking right-back has represented England at U16 through to U20 levels. Although without First Team experience with The Gunners, he spent a season long loan at Dutch side Utrecht, making one senior appearance in addition to being a regular in their reserve side during the 2015/16 season. Commenting on the deal, Gareth Ainsworth said: “He’s trained with us this week and proved himself to be a very talented defender who will also be a threat going forward." He was allocated No.18 in the Wycombe squad.

Dayle SOUTHWELL Forward Signed for Guisley (undisclosed)
Revealed on 9th January 2018 that striker Dayle Southwell had left Wanderers to join 'National League' side Guisley for an 'undisclosed fee'. Southwell joined Wanderers in June 2016 on a free from Boston United and went on to make 11 starts in League Two for Wycombe in 2016/17 before spending a loan spell with Lincoln City during February and March 2017. However, made just three League Two starts for Wanderers in 2017/18. Totalled 32 appearances for Wanderers (12 from the bench) and scored on two occasions - home to Stevenage in League Two in September 2016, plus a goal in Wanderers 5-1 home reverse in the Football League Trophy to Bristol Rovers in August 2017.

Max MULLER (loan extended) Defender Loaned to Morecambe
The Club confirmed on 4th January 2018 that defender Max Müller will remain on loan at Morecambe for the remainder of the 2017/18 season. Gareth Ainsworth commented: “Max has been getting regular game time at Morecambe and that’s something we can’t guarantee here, so it makes sense for all parties for him to stay with them." With his contract with Wanderers running until June 2018, it seems highly unlikely he will play for Wanderers again. The Club also confirmed that he had not been given permission to play in the scheduled League Two fixture between Wanderers and Morecambe on 24 February 2018.

Eberechi EZE (loan returned) Midfielder Returned to QPR
As expected, QPR striker Eberechi Eze returned to his parent club on 2nd January 2018. Eze made 22 appearances for Wanderers, including 16 starts in the Football League, plus two further starts in the Football League Trophy. The QPR youngster also scored on five occasions, including two incredible goals away to Cambridge United on 7th October 2017. Speaking of his time at Adams Park, Manager Gareth Ainsworth "He's been outstanding. He's played a huge part in us winning some games and he's been that spark when we've needed him. He's still got a few bits to refine in his game but he's got everything to be a top, top player. He'll go back to QPR and I'm sure he'll play a few games for them. We wish him all the very best and we're hoping we'll see him in the blue and white hoops soon."

Barry RICHARDSON Goalkeeper Released
The Club revealed the surprise news on 29th December 2017 that goalkeeper coach Barry Richardson had left Wanderers by mutual consent. The statement from the Club said he had called time on his time at Adams "to be closer to his family." He added: "Leaving Wycombe was a really difficult decision to make and I really hope and believe they can go up this year. It’s a special club with some great people who I’ll keep in touch with and I’m sure I’ll be back to visit.” 38 years old at the time of his departure, Richardson joined the coaching staff at Wycombe in January 2014 but most famously came on as substitute in a League game at Plymouth Argyle in January 2016 and kept a clean-sheet during a 1-0 victory and in the process became the oldest ever player to represent Wanderers in the Football League.

Dan SCARR (loan in) Defender Loan from Birmingham City
The Club confirmed on 11th December 2017 that the loan of Birmingham City defender Dan Scarr had been extended until the end of the 2017/18 campaign. The deal will include play-off games should they be required. The 22 year old originally joined on a loan deal until 1st January 2018 and at the time of the extension had made 13 appearances during his time at Adams Park, including outings in the FA Cup after being given permission to play by City.

Danny ROWE Defender Released
After months of speculation, the Club announced on Wednesday 25th October 2017 that defender Danny Rowe had left Wanderers by 'mutual consent due to personal circumstances.' His only appearance during 2017/18 had been in the home League Cup defeat to Fulham and his non-selection in the matchday squad had been the subject of debate with many Wanderers followers. Rowe, who was 22 the day before the annoucement, joined Wanderers on a three year deal from Rotherham in the summer of 2015 having previously spent two loan spells with Wycombe - including being part of the team that escaped relegation at Torquay on the final day of the 2013/14 season. Having seemingly fallen out of First Team consideration back in December 2016 (playing his last League game in October 2016), he was loaned to Barrow for the remainder of the 2016/17 season. He made 54 First Team appearances and scored once during his time at Adams Park. It was confirmed a few days after his departure from Wanderers that he had joined York City on a deal until June 2019.

Will DE HAVILLAND (loan returned) Defender Loan to Aldershot
Recalled from his loan with National League side Aldershot Town at the start of October 2017 in response to Wanderers' ongoing injury problems in the defensive department. Originally went to Aldershot on loan at the start of the 2017/18 campaign on an initial one month deal but returned to Adams Park at the end of the agreement due to injury. Regained fitness and returned to Aldershot on 22 September 2017 for a new deal running until 13 November 2017. Made 8 National League appearances for The Shots during his two short loan spells.

Yves MA-KALAMBAY Goalkeeper Free transfer
The Club announced on 2nd October 2017 the signing of 31 year old former Chelsea goalkeeper Yves Ma-Kalambay on a deal running until 29th January 2018, with the Club also confirming he would be 'providing cover and competition for Scott Brown'. The Belgium born player originally played at Youth level for Chelsea but failed to break into the First Team, instead making his senior debut during a loan spell at Watford during the 2005/6 season. He later played for Hibernian and then Swansea City before time in Belgium with KV Mechelen and Royal Antwerp. He returned to the UK in July 2015 to take up a coaching role with Muswell Hill Football Academy. He can also claim international honours with the Belgium Olympic 2008 side and then the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo), the birthplace of his father. He was allocated No.30 in the Wanderers squad. Announced on 17th January 2018 that his deal had been extended until the end of the 2017/18 season.

Dan SCARR (loan in) Defender Loan from Birmingham City
Wanderers continued their foray into the loan market during the opening weeks of the 2017/18 season with the arrival of Birmingham City defender Dan Scarr in a deal running until 1st January 2018. Scarr should be familiar to Wanderers’ fans having scored for former Club Stourbridge in the 3rd Round FA Cup tie at Adams Park in January 2017. His goal at Adams Park bought him the attention that finally persuaded City to take the then 23 year old on a two and half year deal. Scarr was allocated No.28 in the Wanderers squad. It was unknown at the time of the annoucement whether Scarr would be allowed to play in FA Cup ties with Wanderers.

Eberechi EZE (loan in) Midfielder Loan from QPR
Wanderers made another move into the loan market on Wednesday 30th August 2017 with the signing of 19 year old midfielder Eberechi Eze from Queens Park Rangers. The two clubs agreed a deal running until 2nd January 2018. The London born player was originally part of the youth set-up with Arsenal, before time with Fulham and Millwall. He signed for Rangers in August 2016 from Millwall on a one year deal but this was extended until June 2020 after bagging nine goals in fourteen appearances for the Rangers U23 side. His solitary First Team appearance for QPR, prior to the loan move to Wycombe, came in their 2-1 home defeat to Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup in January 2017 – however, his time was cut to just 18 minutes due to injury. He has also been called up to Nigerian national side. He was allocated the 27 in the Wanderers squad and given permission to play in Football League Trophy matches but not the FA Cup during his time at Adams Park.

Paul HAYES Forward Released
Striker Paul Hayes departed the Club by ‘mutual consent’ on Tuesday 29th August 2017. The shock news was announced shortly after Wanderers’ 5-1 home defeat to Bristol Rovers in the Football League Trophy. Originally joining Wycombe on loan from Charlton Athletic in 2012, he returned to Adams Park on a permanent deal in May 2014 having spent time with Brentford and Scunthorpe United in the intervening years. His final record with Wanderers was played 126 – scoring 15 times. His two goals against Spurs in the FA 4th Round tie at White Hart Lane in January 2017 will go down in Wycombe folklore.

Josh UMERAH (loan in) Forward Loaned from Charlton Ath
With transfer deadline day approaching, the Club confirmed the loan signing of 19 year old striker Josh Umerah from Charlton Athletic on 29th August 2017. A deal with Charlton has been agreed until 15th January 2018. He came to Adams Park having been with Charlton since the age of 10 and was top scorer for their U18 side when they won the Professional Development League 2 for season 2014/15. He had made seven senior appearances prior to his loan move to Wycombe (all as substitute). He made his Charlton debut as a sub in the Championship game away to Hull City on 16 January 2016. He then had to wait until August 2016 for a further chance from the bench and made one further substitute appearance before a loan deal to Kilmarnock in February 2017. He made four substitute appearances for the Scottish Premiership side before returning to The Valley. He was allocated No.26 in the Wanderers squad.

Max MULLER (loan out) Defender Loaned to Morecambe
The Club confirmed on 22nd August 2017 that defender Max Müller had agreed a loan deal with Morecambe running until 2nd January 2018. The 23 year old signed for Wanderers in August 2016, eventually making his debut, following injury, in December 2016. He made a further 11 appearances before the end of the 2016/17 campaign but made just a solitary appearance in 2017/18 (League Cup versus Fulham) before Manager Gareth Ainsworth opted for the loan deal with the fellow League Two club. Müller will remain with Morecambe until 2nd January 2018, and cannot be recalled due to the nature of a standard EFL loan. He has permission to play in Football League Trophy fixtures, but not in FA Cup matches or games against Wycombe Wanderers.

Craig MACKAIL-SMITH Forward Free transfer from Luton Town
The Club confirmed the signing of former Luton Town striker Craig Mackail-Smith on Thursday 17th August 2017. The 33 year old signed a one year deal after being released by The Hatters in the summer of 2017. He has clocked up over 500 senior appearances in a career stretching back to his time with then Isthmian League St Albans City. His most prolific spell came at Peterborough United where he scored 99 goals in 212 First Team appearances. He was allocated number 25 in the Wanderers squad.

Jack WILLIAMS (loan in) Defender Loan from QPR
The Club announced on 31st July 2017 a five month loan deal for 19 year old Queens Park Rangers left-back Jack Williams. He joined Wanderers having appeared in the pre-season friendlies with Wimbledon and Maidenhead United. He comes to Adams Park having yet to break into The R's First Team but having made 19 appearances for their U23's side during the 2016/17 season, plus a short 'work experience' spell with Bishops Stortford in the National League South. The loan deal runs until 1st January 2018. He was allocated No.24 in the Wanderers squad.

Nathan TYSON Forward Free transfer from Kimarnock
Former Wanderer who returned to Adams Park on a one year deal following a short trial in pre-season 2017/18. Originally joined Wycombe from Reading in March 2004 and then bagged 44 goals in 87 appearances before signing for Nottingham Forest in a £675,000 deal in Janaury 2006. The now 35 year old had most recently played for Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership, before returning to Wycombe after more than 11 years.

Aaron PIERRE Defender Free transfer to Northampton Town
Out of contract defender who was offered a new deal with Wanderers but opted to look for a move higher up the divisions. Eventually signed for League One Northampton Town on 21st July 2017. Made 149 First Team appearances for Wanderers - scoring 9 goals - during a three and half year spell at Adams Park that initially started with a loan deal from Brentford.

Adam EL-ABD Defender Free transfer from Shrewsbury Town
The Club announced the first signing of the close season on 3rd July 2017 with the news that 32 year old central defender Adam El-Abd had signed a two year deal following a free transfer from Shrewsbury Town. The former Egyptian international is best known for a 10 year spell at his home town club, Brighton & Hove Albion. He spent last season as Captain of Shrewsbury Town in League One.

Myles WESTON Midfielder Joined Ebsfleet United
The Club confirmed on 28th June 2017 the departure of the former Southend midfielder. A statement from the Club read: "The Club have granted Myles Weston’s wish to leave the club due to family reasons, with the winger making a move closer to home with Ebbsfleet United." The 29 year old joined Wanderers in the summer of 2016 on a two year deal following his release from Southend United. After picking up an injury during the first game of the 2016/17 campaign, he returned to First Team action in October 2016 and went to make 26 appearances and scored three times. He joined the Conference side on a free transfer.
