Jasper PATTENDEN Midfield Undiscl. from Worthing
The signing of 20-year-old Worthing midfielder Jasper Pattenden was announced shortly after 9am on Tuesday 23rd June 2022 (fixture release day). The highly rated player had been with the south-coast side for four years following his release by Brighton & Hove Albion. He went on to make his senior debut in October 2018, aged 16. The following two seasons were affected by Covid but the youngster commanded a regular First Team spot during the 2021/22 campaign, making 44 appearances and netting 10 times as Worthing won the Isthmian League Premier Division and promotion to the National League South. The length of his contract was not disclosed at the time of his move to Adams Park but is assumed to be one year, with the option of a further 12 months. He was allocated No.31 in the Wanderers squad for the 2022/23 season.

Anthony STEWART Defender Free to Aberdeen
It was confirmed on the evening of Tuesday 21st June 2022 that central defender Anthony Stewart had turned down the offer of a new contract with Wycombe in League One, in favour of a two-year deal with Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen. The 29-year-old was in his second spell with Wanderers, totalling 292 appearances, having originally come through the youth system at Adams Park. The highlight of his career at Wycombe was scoring the opening goal in the League One Play-Off Final against Oxford United in July 2020.

David STOCKDALE Goalkeeper Free to Sheffield Wednesday
It was confirmed on Wednesday 15th June 2022 that out of contract goalkeeper David Stockdale had turned down the offer of a new deal with Wycombe, in favour of move to fellow League One side Sheffield Wednesday. 37-years-old at the time of the move, Stockdale had originally spent two brief loans spells with Wanderers from Birmingham City during the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons. He then joined on a permanent basis in September 2020 as cover for Ryan Allsop in Wycombe's 2020/21 Championship season but eventually won a regular First Team spot - culminating in winning the joint 'Golden Glove' award for most clean-sheets in League One during the 2021/22 season.

Andre BURLEY, Jean-Baptiste FISCHER, Malachi LINTON, Oliver PENDLEBURY, Adam PRZYBEK and Max RAM Various Released - out of contract
The Club confirmed on Tuesday 24th May 2022 the release of six out of contract players. They were Andre Burley, Jean-Baptiste Fischer, Malachi Linton, Olly Pendlebury, Adam Przybek and Max Ram. Of those six, only Pendlebury (signed in June 2021) had made Football League apperances for Wycombe, making four apps early in the 2021/22 campaign and also netting twice in the 3-1 victory at Cheltenham in August 2021. Burley, a signing for Wanderers in September 2020, made his international debut for Saint Kitts and Nevis prior to making his senior debut for Wycombe (a Football League Cup tie at Exeter on 10th August 2021). Fischer (signed in September 2021) failed to make a senior appearance but did play and score in a Berks & Bucks Senior Cup tie against Long Crendon in February 2022. Linton (signed in September 2020) eventually made his senior debut for Wanderers in a Football League Trophy tie against Aston Villa in August 2021 but spent the remainder of the season on loan at Kings Lynn. Goalkeeper Adam Przybek (signed in July 2021) made 5 senior appearances for Wycombe (3 FLT, 1 FA Cup and 1 League Cup) and was included on the bench in 33 other games. Max Ram (signed in August 2021) made 3 senior appearances for Wycombe (2 FLT and 1 League Cup).

Adebayo AKINFENWA (retired) Forward Retired
Adebayo Akinfenwa played his final game for Wycombe Wanderers when he came on as substitute in the League One Play-Off Final v Sunderland at Wembley on 21st May 2022. The then 40 year-old had announced his intention to retire from the playing side at the start of the 2021/22 campaign having been professional football for close to 20 years and clocking up near to 800 senior appearances, with more than 230 goals. The final six seasons had come during a spell at Wycombe where he totalled exactly 250 First Team apps and scored 60 goals. His goal tally put in at the front of Wanderers' highest goalscorers during their Football League era.

Jack YOUNG Midfield Signed from Newcastle United
The Club confirmed on 4th April 2022 that 21-year-old Newcastle United loanee Jack Young had been signed on a permanent deal running until June 2025. The midfielder moved on loan to Adams Park in February 2022 and impressed with a spectacular goal in the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup tie against Long Crendon followed by two substitute appearances for Wanderers in League One.

Jack WAKELY (loan out) Defender Loan to Maidenhead United
News was revealed via the Maidehead United official website on Thursday 24th March 2022 that central defender Jack Wakely had signed for the National League side on loan until the end of the 2021/22 campaign. The 21-year-old had joined Wanderers in July 2021 on a two-year deal having been released from the Chelsea Youth Academy.

Ali AL-HAMADI (loan out) Forward Loan to Bromley
The Club announced on Friday 11th March 2022 that 20-year-old Iraq international striker Ali Al-Hamadi had been loaned out to National League side Bromley for the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign. The former Swansea City academy player joined Wanderers in November 2021 on a deal running until June 2023 but had yet to break into First Team football at the time of the loan move, although he had netted in a Berks & Bucks Senior Cup tie v Long Crendon.

Oliver PENDLEBURY (loan out) Mifielder Loan to Woking
It was announced on Friday 4th March 2022 that 20-year-old midfielder 'Olly' Pendlebury had joined National League side Woking on loan until the end of the 2021/22 campaign. The former England U-16 Captain had joined Wanderers in June 2021 and was given his Football League debut on the opening day of the season - appearing in the starting XI against Accrington Stanley on 7th August 2021. The week he hit the headlines when he netted a brace in Wycombe's 3-1 League One victory at Cheltenham Town. He had totalled 7 First Team starts and 2 substitute appearances before his move to Woking.

Jean-Baptiste FISCHER (loan out) Midfield Loan to Braintree Town
It was revealed via social media on 26th February 2022 that Jean-Baptiste Fischer had joined National League South side Braintree Town on loan until the end of the 2021/22 season. The former Paris Saint-Germain youth captain signed for Wanderers in September 2021 but had yet to make a competitive First Team apperance at the time of the loan deal, although he netted for Wanderers in a Berks & Bucks Senior Cup tie versus Long Crendon on 15th February 2022.

Tjay DE BARR (loan out) Forward Loan to Eastleigh
The Club announced on 11th February 2022 that 21-year-old Gibraltarian striker Tjay De Barr had been loaned to National League side Eastleigh for an initial one month spell. He had joined Wanderers on 4th August 2021 and went on to score on his First Team debut on 24th August 2021 - netting a stoppage time equaliser against Stevenage in the Football League Cup and then scoring the winning spot-kick to earn Wanderers a Third Round tie away to Manchester City. He made his Football League debut the following Saturday when came on as substitute in game at Sunderland on 28th August 2021. He made six further substitute appearances for Wanderers and gained two further international caps for Gibraltar during the same spell. De Barr returned to Wycombe at the end of the one month loan spell, having made four appearances but also reported as 'being seriously injured' in his final game for Eastleight against Southend United.

Matt BLOOMFIELD (retired) Midfield Retired
It was announced on 2nd February 2022 that Matt Bloomfield had confirmed his retirement from the playing side after more than 18 years with Wycombe Wanderers. The 37-year-old revealed that a series of head injuries had prompted his decision - his final game for Wanderers being the Football League Trophy tie at Exeter City on 10th August 2021 when he suffered a further blow to the head from a mis-placed clearance from teammate Joe Jacobson. Bloomfield had originally been signed by Wycombe on a free from Ipswich Town by then Manager Tony Adams. He went on to make 558 competitive First Team appearances, netting on 42 occasions - including scoring at least one goal in his first 18 seasons at Adams Park.

Connor PARSONS (loan out) Forward Loan to Bromley
It was announced on 1st February 2022 that 21-year-old attacking midfielder Connor Parsons had returned from National League side Notts County but had subsequently agreed a deal to move on loan to Bromley for an initial one month period. On the 2nd March 2022, Bromley announced the deal had been extended until the end of the 2021/22 campaign, following a succesful first month with the National League side where he netted in League game versus Weymouth.

Jack YOUNG (loan in) Midfield Loan from Newcastle United
The Club confirmed on the morning of 1st February 2022 that they had agreed a deal to bring in 21-year-old midfielder Jack Young on loan from Newcastle United until the end of the 2021/22 season. The former Magpies youth player arrived at Adams Park with Football League Trophy experience at his parent club plus a five game loan spell with Tranmere Rovers earlier in the 2021/22 campaign. He was allocated No.15 in the Wanderers squad.

Lewis WING Midfield Free from Middlesbrough
The signing of midfielder Lewis Wing from Middlesbrough was announced in the dying minutes of the transfer window on 31st January 2022. The 26-year-old joined on a deal running until June 2022 after he was recalled by his parent club from a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday. It was reported that Wing was in talks to join Portsmouth (and one other unnamed Club) before Wycombe offered the better deal for the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign. He arrived at Adams Park after a five year spell with Boro where he scored 14 goals in 92 First Team appearances, as well as spending time on loan at Yeovil Town, Rotherham United and then Wednesday. He was allocated No.11 in the Wanderers squad.

James CLARK Defender Free to Beaconsfield Town
The Club confirmed on 31st January 2022 that 20-year-old full-back James Clark had left Wanderers following the expiration of his contract and had subsequently joined Beaconsfield Town. The former Chelsea youngster originally joined Wycombe in November 2020 and left Wycombe having made two competitive First Team appearances - both as substitute in the Football League Trophy (v Aston Villa in August 2021 and Burton Albion in November 2021).

Adam LEATHERS (loan out) Midfield Loan to Dulwich Hamlet
It was announced on 31st January 2022 20-year-old 'defensive midfielder' Adam Leathers had joined Dulwich Hamlet on loan for an unspecified period. The former Leicester City youngster had signed for Wanderers in September 2021 - making his First Team debut in the Football League Trophy tie with Burton Albion in November 2021. He had not made any additional First Team apps for Wycombe at the time of his loan move to the National League South side.

Andre BURLEY (loan out) Defender/Midfield Loan to Hungerford Town
It was announced on 17th January 2022 that 22-year-old defender/midfielder, Andre Burley, had retuned early from his season long loan deal with Maidenhead United and had subsequently re-joined Hungerford Town on loan until the end of the 2021/22 campaign. The youngster, with five international caps to his name in 2021 with Saint Kitts and Nevis, made six loan appearances for Hungerford during the 2020/21 season.

Curtis ANDERSON Goalkeeper Free to Lancaster City
The Club confirmed on 31st January 2022 that 21-year-old goalkeeper had left the Club to join Northern Premier League side Lancaster City. The former Barrow and Manchester City player arrived at Adams Park in September 2020 without First Team experience in the UK but having won the 2017 U17 World Cup with England and also finished as runners-up in the UEFA U17 tournament the same year. His England career also boasts caps for England U16, U18 and U19 sides. He moved from Man City in March 2019 to gain experience in the North American soccer league with Charlotte Independence. He did not make any competitive First Team appearance during his spell at Adams Park.

It was announced on 26th November 2021 that 21-year-old attacking midfielder Connor Parsons had joined National League side Notts County on loan deal running until 29th January 2022. The former Norwich City accademy player had joined Wanderers in August 2021, scoring on his First Team debut against Aston Villa in a Football League Trophy tie at Adams Park on 31st August 2021. His First Team duties for Wanderers were limited to two further FLT appearances.

Ali AL-HAMADI Forward Free agent
An announcement before the meeting with Bolton Wanderers on Saturday 20th November 2021 confirmed the signing of 19-year-old Iraq international striker Ali Al-Hamadi on a deal running until June 2023. The former Swansea City academy player had been reported to joining the Wanderers following a successful trial period where he netted in behind closed doors friendly with Bournemouth at Adams Park. He was allocated the No.25 in the Wycombe squad for the 2021/22 season.

Max RAM (loan out) Defender Loan to Hungerford Town
The Club announced on 19th November 2021 that defender Max Ram had been loaned out to National League South side Hungerford Town for an initial 28-day deal. The former Nottingham Forest youngster had joined Wanderers in August 2021 - making three competitive First Team appearances prior to his loan move - a Football League Cup tie at Stevenage, plus Football League Trophy matches against Aston Villa U21s and Burton Albion at Adams Park. The loan deal was extended for a further month before being further extended until the end of the 2021/22 season on 31st January 2022.

Andre BURLEY (loan out) Defender/Midfield Loan to Maidenhead United
It was announced on Friday 5th November 2021 that 22-year-old defender/midfielder, Andre Burley, had moved to National League side Maidenhead United on a season long loan. The youngster had originally joined Wanderers in September 2020 to be part of the Club's Development Squad but moved on loan to Hungerford Town in December 2020 in order to gain experience. After his return to Adams Park, he made his international debut when he played for Saint Kitts and Nevis on 24th March 2021 in a World Cup qualifier against Puerto Rico. He went on to gain four more caps between March 2021 and June 2021, before COVID-19 travel restrictions prevented further caps going into the 2021/22 campaign. He made his First Team debut for Wycombe in the Football League Cup tie at Exeter on 10th August 2021 and two further senior appearances (League Cup and League Trophy) before his move to Maidenhead.

Tyla DICKINSON (loan out) Goalkeeper Loan to Hayes & Yeading
The Club announced on 15th October 2021 that 20-year-old goalkeeper Tyla Dickinson had joined Hayes & Yeading on an initial one month loan deal. The youngster had originally joined Wycombe on 4th August 2021 following his release from Queens Park Rangers and had been targetted to be part of the Wanderers Development Squad. It was announced on 19th November 2021 that the loan deal had been extended by a further 28 days.

Jean-Baptiste FISCHER Midfield Free agent
The Club announced a second new arrival of the day on Friday 17th September 2021 with the signing of 23-year-old Jean-Baptiste Fischer. The central midfield is a former youth player at his home town Club Paris Saint-Germain before leaving to study in the USA at the age of 19 and playing for Georgetown. He moved to the UK in September 2020 to continue studying at Swansea University, and subsequently had a brief trial at Swansea City. Picked up by Wanderers as a free agent in August 2021, playing alongside fellow new signing Adam Leathers in the behind closed doors with Maidenhead United. He was allocated the No.27 in the Wanderers squad.

The Club announced on Friday 17th September 2021 the signing of 19-year-old former Leicester City 'defensive midfielder' Adam Leathers. The youngster had been released by the Premier League side in the summer of 2021 and had spent time on a trial at Wycombe, impressing enough in a 'behind closed doors' friendly with Maidenhead United to earn his chance at Adams Park. He had been a regular in The Foxes U23 side - gaining his first senior appearance in a Football League Trophy meeting with Grimsby Town during the 2020/21 season. He was allocated No.24 in the Wanderers squad.

Alex SAMUEL Forward Free to Ross County
The Club announced on deadline day, Tuesday 31st August 2021, that forward Alex Samuel had been released by 'mutual consent' and subsequently joined Scottish Premier League side Ross County on a free transfer. The 25-year-old had originally joined Wanderers in August 2018 on a free from Stevenage and went on to make 88 First Team appearances and netted 11 goals.

Scott KASHKET Forward Free from Crewe Alex.
The Club announced on Monday 30th August 2021 that forward Scott Kashket had been released by 'mutual consent to enable him to sign for a new team ahead of the transfer deadline'. The 25-year-old had been the Wanderers exactly five years, making 129 appearances and scoring 31 goals, including Wycombe's first ever goal as a second tier side. Shortly after the news was announced, it was confirmed he had joined fellow League One side Crewe Alexandra on a one-year deal.

After press speculation, the Club confirmed on 26th August 2021 the signing of 24-year-old striker Brandon Hanlan for an undisclosed fee from fourth tier side Bristol Rovers. The former Charlton Athletic and Gillingham player signed a three-year deal and was allocated No.18 in the Wycombe Wanderers squad for the 2021/22 campaign.

Connor PARSONS Forward Free agent
20-year-old former Norwich City academy player Connor Parsons was confirmed as a new signing by the Club on 24th August 2021, just prior to the kick-off of the Football League Cup tie at Stevenage. The left-sided attacker had impressed during a trial period for the Wanderers, including appearances for the Development team. He was signed on a one-year deal and allocated the No.39 shirt in the Wanderers squad for the 2021/22 campaign.

Malachi LINTON (loan out) Forward Loan to King's Lynn Town
The Club announced on 20th August 2021 that 21-year-old striker Malachi Linton had joined National League side King;s Lynn Town on a season long loan. The Former Ipswich Town youngster had originally joined Wanderers in September 2020 to be part of the Development Squad set-up and also spent a short spell on loan to Slough Town in the 2020/21 season. Despite not making a First Team appearance for Wycombe, impressed enough to sign a one-year extension to his contract at Adams Park. It's understood that part of the agreement of the loan deal with King's Lynn is that the player will be allowed to turn out for Wycombe during any midweek Development Squad matches and/or Football League Trophy ties.

21-year-old Gibraltarian striker Tjay De Barr was confirmed as a new signing for Wanderers on 4th August 2021 following heavy speculation of a move to Adams Park having made a brief appearance for Wanderers in the pre-season friendly with Leicester City on 28th July 2021. He arrived in Buckinghamshire having played 24 times for his country and also experiencing Champions League qualifiers with Gibraltar based Lincoln Red Imps. He was allocated the No.29 shirt in the Wanderers squad for the 2021/22 campaign.

Max RAM Defender Free agent
20-year-old central defender Max Ram was another signing announced as a part of a trio of new arrivals for Wanderers on 4th August 2021. The former Nottingham Forest player, who spent part of the 2020/21 season with Stratford, had been training with Wycombe during pre-season and also appeared in Development Squad matches to earn his deal at Adams Park. He was allocated the No.35 shirt in the Wanderers squad for the 2021/22 campaign.

20-year-old goalkeeper Tyla Dickinson was announced as a part of a trio of new signing for Wanderers on 4th August 2021. The released Queens Park Rangers had been training with Wycombe during pre-season and also appeared in Development Squad matches to earn his deal at Adams Park. He was allocated the No.30 shirt in the Wanderers squad for the 2021/22 campaign.

Sam VOKES Forward Free from Stoke City
After a few days of speculation and then a sighting prior to the pre-season game with Leicester City on 28th July 2021, 31-year-old striker Sam Vokes was confirmed as a new signing just minutes later by the Club. The former Burnley man signed on an initial one-year deal after being released by Championship side Stoke City. He was allocated the No.9 shirt in the Wanderers squad for the 2021/22 campaign.

High Wycombe born 20-year-old central defender Jack Wakely was confirmed as a new signing for the Wanderers prior to the pre-season friendly with Leicester City on 28th July 2021. The former Chelsea Youth Academy player signed a two-year deal with his home town club having been at Stamford Bridge since the age of 9. He had impressed in the Wanderers Development Squad pre-season games to earn him a deal at Adams Park. He was allocated the No.21 shirt in the Wanderers squad for the 2021/22 campaign.

Adam PRZYBEK Goalkeeper Free from Ipswich Town
The Club announced on 17th July 2021 the signing of goalkeeper Adam Przybek on an one year deal. The 21-year-old was released by Ipswich Town in the summer of 2021 where he made loan appearances for Braintree, Concord Rangers and Chesterfield. A former youth player at West Brom who has also played for Wales at U19 and U21 levels. He was allocated the No.31 in the Wanderers squad for the 2021/22 campaign.

Sully KAIKAI Forward Free from Blackpool
The Club confirmed on 15th July 2021 the signing of 25 year-old left-sided winger Sullay Kaikai on a 2-year deal following his release from Blackpool where he scored 13 goals in 68 appearances. The former Crystal Palace youth player, with more than 180 senior apps to his name also made his Sierra Leone debut in June 202. He was allocated the No.16 shirt in the Wanderers squad for the 2021/22 campaign.

Curtis ANDERSON (loan out) Goalkeeper Loan to Eastbourne Borough
The Club announced on 9th July 2021 that 20-year-old goalkeeper Curtis Anderson had joined National League South outfit Eastbourne Borough on a season-long loan. Anderson had originally signed for Wanderers on a one-year deal in September 2020 having previously been part of the youth set-up at Manchester City. In order to gain matchday experience, he was loaned to Walton Causuals in October 2020 but due to COVID-19 restrictions, appearances were extremely limited and he returned to Wycombe in February 2021 when their season was cancelled. Despite the lack of game time, Wycombe extended his contract extended at the end of the 2020/21 campaign for a further 12 months. It's hoped the move to Eastbourne will finally see the 'keeper progress having won the 2017 U17 World Cup with England and also finishing as runners-up in the UEFA U17 tournament the same year. His England career also boasts caps for England U16, U18 and U19 sides.

Uche IKPEAZU Forward Undisclosed to Middlesbrough
It was confirmed on Friday 2nd July 2021 that striker Uche Ikpeazu had a completed a move to Championship side Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee. The move had been widely leaked on social media in the days prior to the move with the suggested fee of £500,000 apparently triggering a transfer clause in the 26-year-old's contract with Wanderers. The 6'3" player joined Wycombe in August 2020 from Scottish Premier side Hearts, also for an undisclosed fee. He made 33 appearances for Wycombe, scoring on six occasions. It's understood that the deal involves add-ons that would be triggered if Boro gain promotion to the Premier League and/or the player makes international appearances.

Josh SCOWEN Midfield Free from Sunderland
The Club announced on Tuesday 29th June 2021 that former Wanderers youth teamer Josh Scowen had rejoined Wycombe on a two-year deal following his release from Sunderland at the end of the 2021/22 campaign. The 28-year-old midfielder originally made his Wycombe debut two days before his 18th birthday in March 2011 and then after loan spells with Hemel Hempstead and Eastbourne he was recalled to the First Team at Adams Park following the apppointment of Gareth Ainsworth as caretaker Manager in September 2012. After impressing for Wanderers, he signed for Barnsley in January 2015, before a move to QPR in July 2017 and then Sunderland in January 2020. He orginally made 100 First Team apps during his first spell with Wycombe and in his six and half year absence added more than 250 further senior appearances to his name.

Oliver PENDLEBURY Forward Free from Reading
The signing of 19-year-old midfielder Oliver 'Olly' Pendlebury was announced by the Club on 8th June 2021. He is a former England U-16 Captain who signed pro terms with Reading in January 2019 - making one First Team appearance. He is likely to be used initially in Wanderers' Development Squad but was subsequently allocated No.33 in the Wanderers squad for the 2021/22 season.
