Following a trial in July 2021, Wycombe Wanderers announced the signing of Gibraltarian forward Tjay De Barr on 4th August 2021 on an initial one-year deal. He made his First Team debut for Wycombe when he came on as substitute in the Football League Cup tie with Stevenage on 24th August 2021 - scoring a stoppage time equaliser to send the tie into extra-time and then converting the decisive spot-kick that ensured Wanderers progressed to the a Third Round tie away to Manchester City. On 11 February 2022, after limited First Team opportunities for Wycombe, he joined National League side Eastleigh on a month long loan. However, injury cut short the arrangement and he spent the remainder of the season at Adams Park. At the end of the season, the Club extended his deal for a further 12 months. De Barr arrived at Adams Park with 24 Gibraltar international caps under his belt - stretching back to his debut in March 2018 v Latvia in a friendly match. He netted his first senior international goal v Armenia in November 2018. He added four caps during his first season with Wanderers - scoring in a World Cup qualifier v Latvia on 1st September 2021 in Riga. On 11th March 2023, De Barr scored his first ever Football League goal - a late header in the 2-1 defeat at Burton Albion. With his eye on securing a more regular First Team spots during the absence of fellow striker Sam Vokes, on 23rd March 2023, De Barr announced that, despite being called up again for Gibraltar, he would remain with Wycombe Wanderers during the international break. On 10th May 2023, the Club confirmed that his contract had been extended for the 2023/24 season. However, First Team opportunities were limited again during the first half of the campaign - making nine Football League appearances from the bench, while his only competive start came in a Football League Trophy tie with Crystal Palace on 19 September 2023. On 24th January 2024 it was announced that he would be returning to Gibraltor to play for his original club, Lincoln Red Imps. External links: Wikipedia Soccerbase
