M40 west to junction 10. Join A43 (Northampton) to join M1
northbound at junction 15A. Exit M1 at juction 21a to join M62. Exit M62 at
junction 20 (signposted Ashton, Rochdale, Oldham A627(M)). At roundabout take
the third exit to jon A627(M) to Oldham. Follow signs for Oldham A627 and look
for signpost Oldham Atheltic FC into Broadway. Take first right after 0.4 miles
into Hibre Avenue which leads towards car parks near the ground. Check www.rac.co.uk
for specific or more detailed directions. |
Train: Please note that the nearest station to Boundary Park,
Oldham Werneth (1 mile), closed in October 2009 and will not reopen
until 2012 when it will become part of the Manchester Metrolink network. Oldham Mumps (2 miles from ground) is also closed because of Metrolink extension work and due to reopen in 2012. Alternative bus services are available to connect from the centre of Manchester where train connections from the south are available to Manchester Piccadilly. The Metrolink service will then eventually be able to take you to Oldham via from Piccadilly via Manchester Victoria station.

Players who have
played for both Clubs.
Kevin Betsy - Former Fulham and Barnsley midfielder who joined Wycombe on a free from Oldham in the summer of 2005 following a season at Boundary Park. Spent 18 months at Adams Park before switching to Bristol City in January 2007 for a £150,000 fee. Failed to make an impact at Ashton Gate and moved to The Shrimpers in August 2008 following loan moves at both Yeovil Town and Walsall. Returned to Wycombe on loan in September 2009.
Mark Foran - Nomadic
defender who spent a loan period with Wycombe in August 1995 from Sheffield United.
Spent three seasons with Peterborough but made just 25 League appearances and made his one loan appearance for Oldham during the 1996/97 season. Eventually moved to Crewe and then Bristol Rovers
in the summer of 2000.
Rob Lee - Made more than 300 appearances for Charlton Athletic prior to a lengthy spell with Newcastle United where he also gained England honours. Made one appearance for Oldham during the 2004/2005 season and joined Wycombe at the tail end of the same season under John Gorman.
Brian Parkin - Goalkeeper
Parkin began his pro career with Oldham in 1982 but made just six
League apps before moving on to Crewe. Also spent a couple of
seasons with Crystal Palace before he settled with Bristol
Rovers where he made over 250 apps over seven seasons. Move to
Wycombe from Rovers where he made 29 apps for in a two season spell
between July 1996 and May 1998. Also played one game on loan for
Notts County in October 1998 but wasn't asked back! Returned to Bristol Rovers in 1999 as part of the coaching staff.
Sam Parkin - Striker who was on loan at Wycombe during the famous 2000/1 FA Cup run. Went to Oldham on loan towards the end of that season before spending the 2001/2 season on loan at
Northampton Town. Went to have a successful spell with
Swindon Town
Ian Westlake - Former trainee with Ipswich Town who spent three months on loan at Oldham at the end of the 2008/2009 season from Cheltenham Town. Signed for Wycombe by Peter Taylor from Cheltenham in the summer of 2009.
Also:
Former 1980's Wycombe and Wealdstone striker Andy Graham was a
trainee with Oldham Athletic before moving into non-League football.
