What we think: You just have to admire Rogers' efforts to force his way
into the English game. Made a shaky start to his Wycombe career but by the end
of the season had defied his critics with a series of fantastic displays in the
centre of defence. Scored his first goals for Wycombe during the 2000/2001
season before being forced into a right back role. Ended up missing the
second-half of the season due to an ankle injury picked up against Wimbledon in
the FA Cup 5th Round tie at Adams Park. Returned at the start of 2001/2002 season and had a solid season that was rewarded with a contract extension until May 2005 and further Canadian honours. |
