What we think: Mid seventies hero for The Wanderers and a member of the team that went through to the Third Round of the FA Cup in the 1974/75 season. It was Perrin's goal in a Second Round replay at Bournemouth that provided a rare 'giant killing' for Wycombe. The exposure from that cup run prompted Crystal Palace and Malcolm Allison to take a gamble on the former QPR trainee. Wycombe fans were delighted to see Perrin score on his Football League debut in September 1976 against Mansfield Town - especially as it was on 'The Big Match'.
The former hero returned to Wycombe in November 1982 following a brief non-contract spell at Northampton Town. Back at Wycombe, under the managership of Mike Keen, he played a key role in the winning of the Isthmian League Championship in 1983.
