Background: Former Wolves trainee whose drew the attention of Wycombe due to his goalscoring exploits for Stockport County in the first half the 2005/6 season. Originally made his Football League debut during a spell with Hartlepool in the basement division. He commented to the Bucks Free Press at the time of the signing, "I won promotion at Hartlepool when we finished runners up but a championship medal would be beautiful. I'm very lucky to be joining a team that's on top of the table. The lads have already put in a lot of hard work to get where they are. I hope that I can score a few goals to keep them at the top." He added "I've been from club-to club in my career so far and I made my name at Stockport but now I want to settle down here and improve as a player." Commenting on the £80,000 transfer fee, he said "It's a lot of money but at the end of the day if I score the goals people aren't going to think about it it certainly won't be something I will be thinking about. All I want to do is concentrate on scoring goals and winning promotion."
