Getting there
By Car: (approx 81 miles from HW)
The recomended route to the ground is to leave the M1 at junction 15 (signposted Northampton A508). Follow signs for Northampton and after around 3 miles turn right onto the A45. Follow signs for Wellingborough until you reach junction with the A6. Turn right (s/p Kettering A6). Cross the bridge and then turn right at the next roundabout for the ground. There is parking close to the stadium.
Train: Wellingborough is the nearest station but this around 5 miles away and the bus service to the ground is infrequent. A taxi to the ground is recommended if you arriving by train. To connect from the south travel from London St Pancras with the usual connections from High Wycombe via London Marylebone.
Check www.nationalrail.co.uk for specific times and connections of trains.

Joined Rushden in December 1998 and in an 18 month spell scored 13 goals in 35 appearances and was a regular in their side that gained promotion to the Football League in May 2000. Has since played for Boston United and Farnborough. Previous clubs also include Birmingham City and Southend United.
Roy Essandoh - Played for Rushden for a short spell prior to answering Wycombe's teletext plea for a striker in March 2001. The rest is history. Has since gone on to play for Cambridge City, Grays Athletic and Gravesend.

Also Steve Brown played for Irthlingborough Diamonds in the mid to late 1980's prior to his main career with Northampton Town and Wycombe.
