Background: A product of the Wycombe Youth Team who signed professional forms with the Club at the start of the 1998/99 season. Had to wait until January 1999 to make his Wycombe debut when he provided emergency midfield cover in an away game at Chesterfield. Had to be patient before beginning to make further inroads into the First Team during the 2000/2001 season where he featured in the earlier stages of Wycombe's FA Cup. Unfortunately had a disappointing 2001/2 season and ended up on loan at Cheltenham Town. Returned to Wycombe for the 2002/3 season but made just two starts after the opening stages months of the season were hampered by injury. Released in April 2003 with Lawrie Sanchez claiming he would have kept him but for financial reasons.
What we think: Despite his lack of height Lee won over many Wycombe fans with his pin point shooting and passing. With three goals from just over a dozen starts in 2000/2001, he showed enough potential to suggest that he had a bright future at Wycombe. However, the following two seasons were a disapointment and it was no real surprise that he was released at the end of the 2002/3 season when his contract expired.
