Background: Locally found player who signed for The Wanderers set-up on schoolboy forms in February 1998 at the age of 14 having played for Wycombe District and County sides.
Played for Wanderers' Youth Team as a schoolboy during the FA Youth Cup run of 1999/2000 which ended in defeat at Newcastle United before signing as a scholar the next season. Also featured in another FA Youth Cup run in season 2001/2002 that ended in the 5th Round at Barnsley
Made his debut for the Wanderers Reserve Team during 2001/2 before Lawrie Sanchez gave him his Football League debut at the start of the 2002/3 season. Appearances mainly restricted to those from the subs bench but score his first senior goal with a golden goal winner at Cheltenham in the LDV Vans Trophy in Novermber 2002. Awarded a professional contract later that season but his chances have been limited since and following the arrival of Tony Adams was eventually loaned out to Weymouth in January 2004.
