What we think: Dave Carroll was quite simply a Wycombe legend. After joining The Wanderers in May 1988 he went on to become the third highest appearance maker in the history of the Club and in April 2001 scored his 100th goal First Team goal in a Wycombe shirt. For those who were there to see it, Carroll's second goal in the 4-2 victory over Preston North End in the 1994 Play-off final will rank as one of the greatest ever Wycombe goals and one of the best seen at Wembley.
