In between his two trials at Wycombe, Bell appeared for Bournemouth, Preston North End and Oldham Athletic at Reserve Team level. Ironically it was against Oldham on Saturday 20th September that Bell made his Football League debut and although he celebrated with two goals Wanderers were on the end of 5-2 defeat. Speaking to the press after the game, Bell said "I've got a point to prove and I've got to do something. The state of the club doesn't matter - I've just got to do what I can do." Later that week Lawrie Sanchez signed the youngster on a three month deal and he continued to impress with his brief appearances that followed and scored again at Tranmere in what turned out to be Sanchez's last game in charge at Wycombe. Made brief appearance under new Manager's John Gorman and Tony Adams but didn't appear in the plans of the latter and on his release from Wycombe was having a trial with Third Division York City. | ||||||||||||||||||
