My lasting memory will be the Portsmouth game where he was the best player on the pitch until that sickening leg break. R.I.P. Mark Philo, a great talent who we never got to see the best of. Rolo

A great lad, always had a smile on his face weather we were losing or winning. nobody got to see him at his best, he was the future of wycombe wanderers football club. Mark Philo: Rest In Peace David N

What a tragic waste of young talent. It was always a pleasure to watch him play and it is such a shame that we will never see him in a Wycombe shirt again. My deepest sympathies to his family, friends and everyone involved with the club. He will be remembered! Mike White

I have been so upset by the sad news and my thoughts and prayers are with Mark's family and friends. I, like many of you, am a parent and my heart especially goes out to Mark's parents. Although the pain and loss they must be feeling is unimaginable I hope they can take some small comfort from the many messages of sympathy and support and feel proud that Mark touched so many people with his talent and his personality. He was credit to them. God bless you Mark. RIP Wycombe Woman

Mark at the WWISC Xmas party 2005 - picture supplied with permission by wwisc.co.ukIt was only last month I and the WWISC committee had dinner with Mark for Xmas, and believe me he was such a good nice guy. Our prayers and thoughts are with with his family and friends and all players and staff at WWFC. Lets win the next game for Mark and indeed the league! xxxx Chairboysgal

Mark "The Key" Philo had all the ability to be a top player for Wycombe. It is a great shame that some only had glimpses of the talent Mark possessed. It was a particular pleasure to see Mark destroy Portsmouth in a pre -season friendly before being taken off with serious injury. You will be missed greatly, my thoughts are with your family, your friends and all involved in this tragic accident. I have fond memories, you won't be forgotten but you will be missed. Big Tone

To Mark, last saw you at Walsall kiddah, stuck for words, what a waste. What a sorry, sorry waste of life. My thoughts can only be with your family. God Bless. Measham Blue

This indeed a sad time for everybody involved with WWFC. My thoughts and those of my family are all with those of Mark's. What a terrible waste of such a young man's talented life. As a club, no matter who we are, lets all rally round and make this year one that Mark would have been proud to be part of. Why is it always the good that die young? May god be with you always. R.I.P. Mark Kevin Priest

I have been so cut up about Marks untimely death that I am lost for words. It seamed that following his injuries that Mark was at last about to explode on to the football scene but alas not. Mark, you will be missed by us all. With very deepest sympathy to his family and friends, our thoughts are with you. Lacey

A real talent, so young, a great prospect, I can't imagine how your family must be feeling but I hope it helps them to know that they are not alone. Thoughts also to the family of the other lady that lost her life. Mark was a member of the club that many of us love, it is at the heart of our community and so is Mark. I'm just a fan but have been since I was a boy. I never met Mark but I saw him play some great games, the Portsmouth friendly really showed what Mark should have become. Despite this I feel like I have lost a friend, I feel a connection to the club and players and I am sure I am not alone. I will be at the Stockport game and I hope it will be a fitting tribute and celebration of Mark's life. SteveA
