MARK PHILO TRIBUTES WANDERERS FANS (First published January 2006) These are a selection of written tributes left by Wycombe supporters in memory of Mark Philo who tragically died on 14th January 2006. The Andy Graham Fan Club Anyone would think the poor guy was cursed - he had so much talent. I remember him ripping apart Pompey in a pre-season game. Fond memories indeed. He played close to 60 minutes before suffering a serious leg injury. During that 60 minutes he was exhilarating - and everyone was so gutted at his injury - as here was truly a big star in the making. Everyone called him 'The Key' on the gasroom .... now he is simply 'A Legend'. Thoughts to all his friends and family......Farewell Young Hero Kiscokid Mark was a terrific prospect who would have graced the game for many years. Sympathies go to his family and friends. Will always remember the game at Griffin Park a couple of years back that he took by the scruff of the neck and nearly won on his own. Condolences to all his family and friends. Absolutely heart-rending. Alien Mark had the potential to be a major star for years to come. He will be sadly missed. Let's win the league for him. Ben Sad Day, a player who I have no doubts would have gone on to be a truely great player. One of the most naturally gifted players I have seen wear the wycombe shirt.
