Wanderers have confirmed they will be taking on eight new scholars into their Youth system for 2002/3. The eight names are made up up of six regulars from the Under 17 set-up; Leon Gordon, top scorer with the Under 17's; defenders Andy Reilly, Matt Heggie and Mark Boland plus midfielders Matty Fox and James Rogers. The other two names are both strikers who teamed up with the Under 17's in February after being spotted by the Wanderers scouts. They are London based Robert Tungatt and local County player Nathanial Griffiths. Griffiths scored a hat-trick on his debut for the Under 17's and along with Tungatt, continued to impress before being offered the three year scholarship.
