Wycombe Wanderers Youth Team Info
This page aims to collate Wycombe Wanderers Youth Team matches since the Club entered the Football League in 1993/94 season. The Youth Team initially played in the South East Counties League and then at the start of the 1999/2000 campaign, transfered to the newly formed Football League Youth Alliance. They continued to compete in this League until the end of the 2011/12 season.
On 8th June 2012 it was announced that Wycombe Wanderers had closed their 'Center of Excellence' with immediate effect. A joint statement from Wycombe Wanderers Football Club and Wycombe Wanderers Trust revealed the news and cited the increased demands of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) where Clubs could be limited to recieving a maximum of £70,000 in transfer fees for a player they had developed, as the main reason behind the decision.
