Background: A former trainee with his home town club Derby County but failed to make their First Team. The left sided player was loaned out to Hereford United during his time with The Rams before eventually moving to Notts County in the summer of 2004. Became Paul Lambert's first signing as Wycombe Manager when he moved to Adams Park in the summer of 2006 after becoming a free agent. Suffered an injury hit first season at Wycombe, having suffered a dislocated shoulder in September 2006. However, it was still a surprise when he was loaned out to Darlington until the end of 2007. Paul Lambert commented at the time of the move, "I think this is the best move for Chris. He started last season really well and he was a regular in our team until he suffered a bad shoulder injury. After that he struggled to get back into the side on a consistent basis. We now have more options down the left with Craig Woodman, Tom Williams and Derek Duncan so Chris might not have got too many games at the start of the season. The move to Darlington will help him to regain the sort of form he was displaying this time last year and I'm sure that he'll come back to us in the new year a better player."
Made just one more appearance for the Wanderers First Team before being released at the end of the 2007/8 season.
