Background: Another product of the Wanderers Youth Team. Ever present for the youths in season 1998/99 and was called in for First Team duty on two occasions the following season. However, he hardly played following his debut due to the outstanding form of Martin Taylor and was loaned out to Hampton and Carshalton during the 2000/2001 season and briefly to Farnborough Town at the end of 2001/2002. He spent the whole of the 2002/3 season on loan at Farnborough but missed out on First Team duty because Farnbrough had already signed Tony Pennock.
What we think: 'Ossie' was waiting patiently for another chance in the First Team following his debut in 1999 but it was difficult for him to make inroads into the First Team with Martin Taylor in such consistent form. He gained rave reviews while out on loan at both Hampton and Carshalton but his disastorous loan spell at Farnborough saw him sit on the bench for most of the 2002/3 season. Hopefully his one year deal with Farnborough for the 2003/4 season will see a kick-start to his career.
