Background: Signed for Wycombe on free transfer from Fulham during the January 2009 transfer window. A former youngster with Arsenal, he moved to the Fulham Academy aged 16 and signed a pro contract at the age of 19 in February 2007. However, after failing to break into the Fulham First Team he was loaned to Bradford City in January 2008 - making his Football League debut later that month. He returned to Fulham towards the end of the 2007/8 season but returned again at the start of the 2008/9 campaign for deal running until 3rd January 2009 and with City having the option to extend to a permanent deal. However, after 14 League appearances for The Bantams they turned down this option, allowing Peter Taylor the opportunity to step in and sign the player on a free transfer and deal running until 30th June 2010.
Commenting on the signing, Wanderers boss Peter Taylor said, "TJ is someone that I've been tracking for a while and I nearly signed him at the beginning of the season. He is a promising young player and he's been given an opportunity to play first team football. It's up to him to keep improving." Meanwhile, the player added, "I'm really excited to be joining the Club. Peter Taylor is a very good manager and he has a vast amount of experience. It was very flattering that he wanted to sign me." He went on to say, "I've come here to play and if I'm fit I want to play every minute possible. As soon as my loan ended with Bradford, Wycombe got in contact and they were very eager to get the deal done and I liked their determination."
