The Club announced at around 6pm on Tuesday 23rd July 2019 the signing of 22-year-old left side defender Jamie Mascoll on a one-year deal following his release from Charlton Athletic.
The London born player originally started his senior football with Isthmian League side Dulwich Hamlet. He later had loan spells with Phoenix Sports, Cray Wanderers and Gray Athletic before a move to Charlton Athletic in August 2017 on a one-year deal following a trial period at The Valley. While playing for Charlton's U23 side he made 6 First Team appearances in the League Cup and Football League Trophy matches - scoring his first goal as a full-time player in a Football League Trophy tie against Wimbledon on 4 September 2018.
Commenting at the time of the signing, Wanderers Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: “Jamie is very quick, very athletic and has shown he’s got an excellent delivery on him, so we believe he’s got the attributes that give us another option in the left-back role. For the past five years, Joe Jacobson has absolutely made that position his own and deservedly so because he’s been an outstanding performer for us. In order for us to develop the squad, we need strength in depth and competition across the park, and Jamie will give us an extra dimension when called upon."
He was allocated No.15 in the Wanderers squad and made his Wycombe debut when he was named in the starting XI that lost on spot-kicks to Reading in the First Round of the League Cup at Adams Park on 13 August 2019.
