Background: Highly rated defender who came through from the Wanderers Centre of Excellence where he orginally played as a striker. Went on to make his debut for the Wanderers Youth Team at the age of 14 where he then went by the name of Lewis Pallet. (See Youth Team gallery 16 August 2003). Signed professional forms during the first of his three years as a Club Apprentice after suggestions that both Arsenal and Chelsea were interested in the youngster. Debuted for the Wanderers First Team just after turning 18 years old but in a disappointing 2007/8 season was given limited opportunites at First Team level after Manager Paul Lambert turned to more experience for his central defence. One of his only two Football League appearances for the 2007/8 season was the 6-0 defeat at Stockport on 8th December 2007. He then spent a brief loan spell at Woking in January 2008, before spending the final two months of the 2007/8 season at AFC Wimbledon where he helped them gain promotion from the Isthmian League to the Conference South. Wanderers took up the option in June 2008 to extend his contract until June 2009 but after failing to make an impact under new Manager Peter Taylor and a short loan spell with Oxford City he was sadly released by 'mutual consent' in January 2009 with a view to the player finding a new club during the 'transfer window'. Commenting on his departure, he told the Club's Official website, "I've really enjoyed my time here, it's a great club with a good manager and I wish everyone all the best. I really hope they get promotion this year."
