Background: Reading born player who played locally for Ardley, Wallingford and Didcot Town - scoring 31 goals in 41 appearances for the latter - before signing for then Conference side Weymouth in January 2007. His continued goalscoring exploits with The Terriers attracted the attention of the Wycombe scouts and he signed an initial loan deal with the Wanderers in February 2009 at the time the south coast side were in dire financial trouble, with a permanent deal promised at the end of the season. Wanderers Manager at the time Peter Taylor said, "Stuart will be a great addition to our squad. He can play in a number of positions, but I'd say he's like an old-fashioned inside forward. He's an excellent footballer, hard working and a very good finisher."
The permament deal was confirmed at the end of the 2008/09 campaign - with a one year contract agreed and although his first full season with the Wycombe was injury hit. Suffered a broken leg in the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup Final with Maidenhead United in May 2010 - an injury that kept him out of action until ??. Then became a regular in the side and earned a two year contract extension at the end of the 2010/11 campaign following Wanderers promotion back to League One.
