Reserve Team match report

Wycombe v Morris Motors
Sunday 2nd November 2003

A 3-0 victory over Morris Motors on Sunday 2nd November raised some flagging spirits after a few disappointing results in recent weeks.

An excellent performance saw an early goal from Twinkle on 5 minutes, followed by two Attempts saved by the Milton keeper, one a free kick curled past the wall by Stephanie Dean ('Twinkle') and the second a shot from Jade Harker. But it was not all one way traffic with the Oxfordshire team creating chances throughout the game, probably their best chance going just wide on the stroke of half time.

The second half began with two direct free kicks against Wycombe – one sailing high, the other just wide, then at the other end Wycombe made a chance and 'Twinkle' scored to make it 2-0. Good defensive work particularly from Loretta Semmons-Doel ('Freddie') in midfield prevented Milton profiting from possession before Harker finished from Amy Watters’ corner to make it a little flattering maybe, but well deserved 3-0 scoreline.

Tracy Sturges was awarded man of the match by the opposition and Jade Harker named by the Wanderers.

Final Score Wycombe 3 Morris Motors 0
