700 GAME LANDMARK FOR WYCOMBE (Tuesday 28th October 2008) Wycombe Wanderers had another landmark in their Football League history but on ice after their 'League Two' meeting with Macclesfield at Adams Park on Tuesday 28th October 2008 was abandoned after 22 minutes due to snow. The match was due to be Wanderers 700th Football League game since they made their debut back in August 1993 at Carlisle United. The milestone will now have to wait until the visit to Rotherham on Saturday 1st November. The total has been reached in just over of sixteen seasons, ten of which were spent in Division Two. During that period Wanderers have gone through eight permanent managers, with Peter Taylor being the ninth.
