WYCOMBE BAG £100K FOR LIVE TV

Wycombe's tie with Hayes in the First Round of the 2001/2002 FA Cup has been chosen for live TV coverage by SKY TV. The game will now be played on Friday 16th November with an 8pm kick-off. Both club's will be better off to the tune of £100,000 each as result of the SKY money. The winners will also pick up £20,000 as part of the AXA sponsorship.
The game has been made ALL-TICKET and the capacity at Hayes' Church Road ground has be set at 4,000 after safety officials visited the ground. Wycombe fans have been allocated 1,400 terrace tickets and 50 seats. The fact that it's on live TV will mean that not only will Wycombe benefit from the TV revenue but it will ensure that those unable to get a ticket can opt to watch it via SKY. Prices are as follows £10 standing adults, £7 standing concessions. Seats are £12 with no concessions.. There were still around 400 tickets remaining as of Friday morning (16th November).
