Wycombe fans have been allocated 2,000 standing places for the opening game of the 2001/2 Football League season at Cardiff
City on Saturday 11th August.Tickets are available in advance but ONLY from via the Cardiff City booking office. Advance ticket prices are £11 adults and £7 juniors and seniors. These can be booked via Credit Card on 0845-345 1405. Tickets must be booked at least 72 hours before the game and there is a £1 booking fee per order (not per ticket). Entrance on the day is £12.50 adults and £9 juniors and seniors but fans are advised to get their tickets in advance to avoid any possible congestion on the turnstiles. With City having splashed out around £2m on transfer fees in the summer they are expecting a gate approaching the 20,000 capacity. Wycombe fans will be on the newly covered Grange Terrace. The Wanderers haven't won their opening game of the season since 1994 when Cambridge United were thrashed 3-0 in the first ever Division Two campaign. Lawrie Sanchez will also be looking to mastermind a first ever win for The Wanderers at Ninian Park in three attempts.
