Getting there
By Car: (approx 148 miles from HW)
From High Wycombe take the A404 to join the M4 westbound. Stay on the M4 for 130 miles before exiting at junction 33 (Cardiff West, Barry, Penarth). Follow signs to 'Cardiff West' onto the A4232. After six miles turn left at roundabout onto B4267 Leckwith Road and follow signs for stadium.
Train: Cardiff Central station is just over a mile from the ground. Connections from London via Paddington - First Great Western Railway. Allow four hours travelling time from High Wycombe via Marylebone. Check www.nationalrail.co.uk for specific times and connections.

Gareth Ainsworth Gareth Ainsworth
- Wycombe player then Manager who had a brief spell with Cardiff City towards the end of 2002/03 season - making 9 League appearances in the Second Division but not featuring in their play-off success at the end of that campaign under Lennie Lawrence.
Started his pro career with Preston North End in 1992 that included a Wembley appearance against Wycombe in the 1994 Division Three Play-Off Final. Moved to Lincoln City in October 1995 before he became Port Vale's record signing in September 1997 when he moved from Sincil Bank for a £500,000 fee. Spent just over a year at Vale Park before another record fee of £2m saw him leave for Wimbledon in 1998. Spent five years with The Dons between 1998 and 2003 and was in their side that lost to Wanderers during the legendary FA Cup run of 2000/2001 but generally had an injury hit time in South London before eventually signing for Cardiff City.
Joined QPR in the summer of 2003 making over 150 appearances for The R's before moving initially on loan from to Wycombe in November 2009 prior to a permanent deal in January 2010. Went on to become Wanderers Manager during the 2012/13 season.

John Williams - Started his full-time football with Swansea City in 1991 scoring 11 League goals in 39 appearances before moving to Coventry City the following season. Wycombe paid £150,000 to City for the ex-postman in September 1995 but after 14 goals in 60 apps left on a free to join Hereford United in February 1997.
Joined Cardiff in August 1998 and scored 16 goals in 51 League and cup apperances before moving to York City at the start of the 1999/2000 campaign. Moved on to Darlington in December 2000.
The nomadic striker has also played on loan for Stoke City and Notts County and Swansea while at Coventry, plus he had short short spells with Walsall and Exeter City in between his time with Hereford and Cardiff.
