Trains: Chiltern Railways have lifted the Engineering Works planned on the Wycombe-Birmingham (Snow Hill) line for
Sunday 8th April and have also confirmed they will be running extra 'direct' services. Tickets for the extra services must be booked in advance via Chiltern
Railways via their telesales service. Click here for more info on extra trains
Wycombe supporters arriving at
Moor Street or Snow Hill will be escourted to New Street where there will be special trains to Aston,
which is the designated station for Wycombe supporters.
The regular service departure times from High Wycombe are 9.19,
10.06, 11.19, 12.19 and 13.19 arriving at Moor Street at 11.04, 12.04, 13.04,
14.04 and 15.04 respectively. The normal cost for an adult return ticket is £18.20
but usually by buying a 'GroupSave' ticket, four tickets can be brought for the cost of
two. However, it appears Chiltern Railways are currently stating that this
won't be available on the day of the semi-final due to 'safety' reasons.
Please note that the 9.19 service could still be subject to Engineering
Works and passengers are being advised to take a later train.
