Wanderers Chairman Ivor Beeks and his Board of Directors are set to give Lawrie Sanchez an increased players budget for next season. Wycombe have raked in more than £1million in gate receipts and TV revenue alone from the ten match cup run and Sanchez is expected to be given a substantial amount of this to help build the squad.

Speaking on BBC Radio Five Live, Beeks said "It does put some money in the coffers for us and hopefully we'll be able to move on from here. Having got to this point, what we need to do really is to drive on and make sure we keep that momentum going. We've achieved great things this year, particularly in the FA Cup and the media have been absolutely brilliant to us."

Beeks went on to say " We need to keep that name of Wycombe Wanderers up there so that everybody notices us. Let's drive on from there and put a little bit of money in and hopefully achieve First Division status next year"
