IT'S WIMBLEDON IN ROUND
FIVE Wycombe took on Lawrie Sanchez's old Club Wimbledon in the Fifth Round of the FA Cup on Saturday 17th February after The Dons beat Middlesbrough 3-1 in the Fourth Round replay at Selhurst Park on Tuesday 13th February. The draw for the Fifth Round was made at the FA headquarters on Sunday 28th January and Wycombe players Jason Cousins and Steve Brown were studio guests. After the draw Brown said "It's probably not the draw we wanted. We wanted someone like Arsenal but if Wimbledon can can beat Middlesbrough it will be nice for the gaffer and Terry Gibson who were both Wimbledon players" As expected The Wanderers' Board made price increases for this high profile tie. All seats except the Family Stand were; Adults £20, Seniors £15 and Juniors £13. Family Stand and The Valley End terrace will be Adults £14, Seniors £11 and Juniors £7. Season Ticket Holders and League Line members had until 5pm on Saturday 3rd February to claim their priority ticket(s). Members of both the Official and Independent Supporters' Club's were are also entitled to claim one ticket under the recently releases Customer Charter. This offer was intended to allow regular non-Season Ticket holders a chance to claim a ticket. The Club also enticed the floating fans by offering stub holders from the home games with Brentford (3rd Feb) or Cambridge (6th Feb) a ticket on a one for one basis. Remaining tickets went on general sale on Monday 12th February and all the home allocation was sold out by lunchtime.
