The rise of O'Neill - Ten years of glory
May 1991 O'Neill leads Wycombe Wanderers out at Wembley as Kidderminster are beaten in the FA Trophy Final.
April 1993 O'Neill's dream comes true as Wycombe clinch promotion to the Football League with 5-1 victory over Runcorn at Adams Park to the GM Vauxhall Conference.
May 1993 O'Neill's boys complete the non-League double at Wembley - Runcorn again the victims in the FA Trophy Final.
May 1994 O'Neill makes it a hat-trick of Wembley victories with a memorable 4-2 victory over Preston North End in the Division Three Play-Off. Wycombe fans still talk about 'that Dave Carroll goal'.
May 1995 Wycombe finish in sixth place in Division Two but miss out on the play-offs due to the restructuring of the Football League. O'Neill joins Norwich City after a series of fall-outs with members of the Wanderers' Board leaves the Irishman disillusioned
December 1995 O'Neill quits Norwich after failing to see eye to eye with Canaries' Chairman Robert Chase. He is quickly appointed as the new Manager of Leicester City
May 1996 O'Neill leads Leicester to a Division One Play-Off sucess at Wembley against Crystal Palace - Steve Claridge getting the winner in the final minute of extra-time.
April 1997 Leicester return to Wembley in the Coca Cola Cup Final where after a 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough the trophy is lifted in the replay at Hillsborough - Claridge getting the winner in extra-time again
March 1999 O'Neill tastes Wembley defeat for the first time as a Manager as Spurs beat Leicester 1-0 in the Worthington Cup Final with a stoppage time winner.
February 2000 It's back to Wembley yet again and a return to winning ways as Tranmere Rovers are beaten 2-1 in the Worthington Cup Final. Meanwhile in the Premiership O'Neill leads Leicester to their fourth top ten finish in four years.
June 2000 Celtic persuade O'Neill to move north of the border for the biggest challenge in his life.
March 2001 O'Neill takes Celtic to a Scottish League Cup victory over Kilmarnock
April 2001 Celtic clinch the Scottish League Championship with five games to spare - it's party time for the green and white half of Glasgow.
May 2001 The final part of the Scottish treble is completed as Celtic beat Hibernian 3-0 in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden Park.
