AWARD FOR

Sanchez has received the Scottish Mutual Performance of the Week award from
SKY TV as recognition for the 3-1 FA Cup success at Grimsby.The victory at Blundell Park took the Wanderers into the Fourth Round of the FA Cup for the first time ever but Sanchez took the victory in his stride. He told SkySports "We scored two goals in a minute and knocked them back on their heels. They came back into the game and it would have been easy to go out in the second-half and lose the game 3-2 and everybody say you've done really well first-half. But the players showed plenty of character and they went out in the second-half and we were the better side and 3-1 was a fair reflection of the game" The Wycombe Manager picked up a similar award last season following the 4-2 victory at Molineux in the Second Leg of the Worthington Cup against Wolves. Wolves will be looking for revenge when they are the visitors to Adams Park in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup on Saturday 27th January.
