The Club announced on the evening of Thursday 13th July 2023, the signing of 27-year-old defender Kane Vincent-Young on a free-transfer following his release from Ipswich Town. The former academy player at Tottenham Hotspur arrived at Adams Park with more than 180 senior apps to his name. Following his release from Spurs, he had a brief spell with Banbury United before a four year stint with Colchester United in League One and League Two. In August 2019 he signed signed for Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee, signing a four-year deal, with the option of an additional year extension. His time at Portman Road was affected by numerous injuries which restricted him to 64 First Team appearances over his four year spell.
