Wycombe Wanderers Ladies Football Team 2003-2004 Match report Aylesbury United 1 Wanderers Ladies 4 Saturday 26th July 2003 It was good to see a few people stay after the men's game to watch the Aylesbury United Ladies v Wycombe Wanderers Ladies friendly played at Buckingham Road. Wanderers gave the ball away far too many times in the first half, but improved as the game went on and were 1-0 up at half time following Su Oakley's strike. Aylesbury, who were relegated to the division Blues have just been promoted to, passed the ball around well but were beaten 4-1 in the end by the Wanderers, with two goals from new signing Jas Brown and a penalty from Oakley securing Wycombe's first pre-season victory.
