(Wednesday 17th June 2009)
Wanderers will start their 2009/10 Football League campaign away to Charlton Athletic on the weekend of Saturday 8th August. The first home game will be against Leeds United on the following weekend (Saturday 15th August), with Peter Taylor's former Club Southend United the visitors on Tuesday 18th August. A tough looking start to the season will continue on Saturday 22nd August when Wanderers make their first ever League visit to Carrow Road to play Norwich City.

Other noteable firsts in the programme will see Wanderers travel to Southampton on Tuesday 1st December, while the trip to Elland Road for the return fixture with Leeds United is scheduled for Saturday 9th January 2010. Wycombe host Southampton on Tuesday 23rd February 2010.

The seasonal fixtures will see Wanderers visit Yeovil Town on Boxing Day (26th December), while Brighton & Hove Albion are the visitors to Adams Park two days later. Norwich City are due to visit Adams Park on 2nd January 2010. The final game of the season is scheduled for Saturday 8th May at home to Gillingham. The 'League One' Play-off Final Wembley is scheduled for Saturday 29th May 2010.

Note: At present the published fixture list is subject to change due to possible live TV commitments and Clubs wishing to play scheduled games on alternative days close to the original date (eg Saturday games on either Friday or Sunday). The latter has typically been because of England matches taking place the same day.
Those potential changes due to England games are:
Sat 5th Sep - England v Slovenia - Friendly - Wycombe away to Brighton
Sat 10th Oct - Ukraine v England - World Cup - Wycombe away to Gillingham
It's understood that Clubs have a ten day period to request a change to the original fixture date.
