Forsyth is learning the ropes on the Youth Team scene but will know that Norwich are a useful side having had the opponents watched. His counterpart at Norwich, Adrian Boothroyd, is also taking the game seriously and has studied a video of Wycombe's victory at Sheffield United in the Third Round as part of the preparation for this tie. He said "The boys are well prepared. We know what to expect, it is going to be a physical battle but that's fine. It's not a problem for us. We are mentally right and looking forward to the game." As an academy side The Canaries entered the competition at the Third Round stage and beat Newcastle United to earn their trip to Wycombe. Their undoubted dangerman is striker Ryan Jarvis. He was outstanding for the England Under 16 side at Adams Park back in November, scoring a well taken goal in England's 3-1 victory over Wales. Wycombe will be looking to frontman Jonny Dixon to help grab the goals for Wycombe. Dixon celebrates his 18th birthday on the day of the game and is likely to be made Captain for the night. Dixon will be striving to lead his team-mates to a little bit of history by taking Wycombe to the last 16 of this competition for the first time. The game at Adams Park kicks-off at 7pm and entrance cost is £3 adults and £1 concessions. A match report will be on COTN later. |
