CONSTITUTION - HERE WE GO AGAIN (Thursday 6th September 2001) The Wycombe Board of Directors have opened up new discussions to make radical changes to the constitution of the Football Club. It was revealed at a fans forum held in the Vere Suite at Adams Park that talks have begun behind the scenes to look at making changes that could be in effect within the next twelve months. New Director Mike Greatwood said "Ultimately the only way you are going to raise money in this club is by reviewing the constitution". However, Greatwood said "We've got to communicate it in the right way so people recognise what we are doing" It's expected that members will be informed of the impending proposals at the Club's AGM due to be held on Tuesday 16th October. Greatwood was joined by Manager Lawrie Sanchez, Club Secretary Keith Allen and defender Mark Rogers in a varied debate that was well attended by Wanderers fans. The forum was a joint venture between the Official Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Association and The Independent Supporters Club. Other topics discussed included access problems to and from Adams Park, why Sanchez isn't sitting on the bench this season, the value of the Youth Team and if Mark Rogers realised who Ted Rogers was before he joined Wycombe. Extended reports from the forum will be on Chairboys on the Net next week. Click here to read all the latest Wycombe news |
