SEASON TICKET SALES TOP 2,000
(Tuesday 26th June 2001)
Fans snap up Season Tickets Season Ticket sales for the 2001/2002 season topped the 2,000 mark as the end of June approached. The momentum from the FA Cup run Wycombe looks set to break the 3,000 sales for the first time, even though Lawrie Sanchez has yet to reach into his 'record' transfer fund.

Sanchez is looking for Wycombe fans to back his ambitions to take Wycombe into Division One, saying "People have got to back the club and the best way of backing it is to put your money down at the beginning of the season via a Season Ticket" Sanchez added "It's a very important time as it gives the Board an indication of how well the success from last season is translated into next season" The Wycombe Manager has already been given a record budget to invest in new players but hopes that extra ticket sales could open up more revenue. "At this moment in time we've got a certain budget but if all of a sudden Season Tickets take off, then the Board may look around and say perhaps we can spend a little more"

Fans have until 5.15pm on Saturday 7th July to take advantage of early purchase discounts and there are also fixed price deals for fans willing to fork out for a 'three-year' Season Ticket.
