(Monday 25th March 2002) ![]() In a press statement following the election, Beeks said ""I am absolutely delighted to have been elected onto The Football League’s Board of Directors. I look forward to being able to contribute fully in decision making at what is a very crucial time for Football League clubs. I would like to thank the Chairmen who voted for me and will work hard to represent the interests of my division and all Football League members." Beeks has been Chairman at Wycombe Wanderers since 1988, having joined the first ever Board of Directors two years previous.
