ON THE NET JOINS FANS NETWORK(Saturday 11th December 1999) In the week that Chairboys on the Net celebrated four years on-line, we were excited to announce that, as from Saturday 11th December 1999, we have joined Future Net's Unofficial Football Network. Matt Farrah, Editor of the Unofficial Football Network told COTN "We can't wait to get Chairboys on the Net into the UFN community. Our intention at UFN is to build a large body of fans producing sites for other fans. We want this community to become bigger and better and more important than all the Football 365s and Football FCs out there. We are trying very hard to get worthy representatives for every English and Scottish club in the country. It's a long and difficult process since finding excellent unofficial club sites is not easy. Luckily, in COTN, our task of finding an excellent Wycombe Wanderers site couldn't have been more simple. We now hope we can help COTN build their site so that they will provide you with an even better resource." Future Net are best known for their involvement with Total Football magazine and will be providing COTN with a share of advertising revenue generated by banners seen by viewers specific to COTN. Webmaster for Chairboys on the Net, Paul Lewis said "This is an exciting opportunity to help COTN develop into the ultimate source of information on Wycombe Wanderers. With the help of the UFN plus the continual valued input from the fans, COTN will strive to add content that is both informative and fun." |
