Characteristics: Attacking defender who could deliver an evil cross. Signed by Martin O'Neill from Northampton Town but really came into his own after being converted to left-back by Alan Smith.
Finest Hours: Screaming match winning goal against Millwall in December 1996. Ever present in season 1996/97 and won the Supporters Player of the Season Award.
Don't mention: One month after the end of the season had transferred to Bristol City - then in the same Division as Wycombe. Controversy surrounded the move with the fee set by the tribunial at 150,000 after Wycombe had expected at least 300,000.
Life after Wycombe: Won promotion with Bristol City in season 1997/98 - winning their Player of the Season award. Relegated along with City the following season - ho ho!
