Paul HYDE (Goalkeeper) Born Hayes 7.4.63. Joined from Hayes in August 1991 and now made close to 250 appearances for the Club. A popular figure at Adams Park and voted Supporters Player of the Season for 1991-92. Up until December 95 had missed just one Football League game for The Chairboys. Put in a transfer request in November following a dispute with Manager Alan Smith and press reports indicate that he may have played his last game for the Club..

Jason ROWBOTHAM (Defender) Born Cardiff 3.1.69. Ex-Raith Rovers full back who played in last seasons Scottish League cup victory for the Kirkcaldy club. Joined Wycombe aIn September 1995 and has since staked a major claim to the No.2 shirt..

Paul HARDYMAN (Defender) Born Portsmouth 11.3.64. Moved to the Wanderers from Bristol Rovers during the summer. Previously at Sunderland and Portsmouth moving on in each case for over £100,000. Has totalled over 300 Football League appearances. Has been playing in a defensive role for Wycombe.

Terry HOWARD (Defender) Born Stepney 26.2.66. Joined in February 1995 from Leyton Orient where he made over 400 appearances. Has quickly become a favourite with the crowd at Wycombe and has recently published a book "Ooh Terry Howard" detailing his career at Leyton Orient and his subsequent move to Adams Park.

Terry EVANS (Defender) Born London 12.4.65. Captured from Brentford in October 1993 for a £20,000 fee. Made over 220 appearances for the Bees having started his career with non-League Hillingdon Borough. Has been out for most of this season with injury but is due to make his comeback in December. At 6'5" is one of the tallest players in professional football.

Jason COUSINS (Defender) Born Hayes 14.10.70. Moved to Wycombe on a free in the summer of 1991 from Brentford where he made 21 League appearances. Was voted the Supporters player of the Season for 1994/95 and has now totalled over 220 appearnces for the Chairboys.

Matt CROSSLEY (Defender) Born Basingstoke 18.3.68. A loyal servant to the Club since joining from Basingstoke in 1988. Has now made over 300 appearances and although only scoring on 8 occasions before the start of this season, is well remembered by Wycombe fans for scoring two goals in the 1993 FA Trophy Semi-Final 2nd Leg against Sutton. We call him 'Sir' down at Adams Park.

Steve BROWN (Midfield) Born Northampton 6.7.66. Made over 150 appearances for Northampton Town before joining Wycombe in February 1994 for a fee of £40,000. After an indifferent start has settled down in the Wycombe midfield, although his regular bookings usually cost him appearances towards the end of the season.

Dave CARROLL (Midfield) Born Paisley 20.9.66. Along with Matt Crossley, Carroll is the longest serving player on the current staff having joined from Ruislip Manor in the summer of 1988. Over 350 appearances for the Club put him in the top twenty appearnces of all-time for the Club. Has also scored over 70 goals - including a sensational goal at Wembley in the 1994 play-off final at Wembley against Preston North End.

Gary PATTERSON (Midfield) Born Newcastle 27.12.72. Joined Wycombe from Shrewsbury Town in December 1994. A former trainee at Notts County who has spent much of this season on the bench. Scored a stunning goal in front of the Sky cameras in the F A Cup game with Gillingham earlier this season.

Brian McGORRY (Midfield) Born . Moved to Wycombe from Peterborough United in the close season but has failed to gain a regular first team spot. Made 58 League appearances for Peterborough having previously played for Bournemouth.

Simon STAPLETON (Midfield) Born Oxford 10.12.68. Injury has kept him out of the side for most of Wycombe's time in the Foobtall League. Joined the Wanderers in August 1989 after one season at Bristol Rovers. Began his football carrer with Portsmouth in 1985. Hopes to return to first team action early in 1996 and add to his 200 plus appearances for the Chairboys.

Keith RYAN (Midfield) Born Northampton 25.6.70. Joined in 1990 at the same time as the move to Adams Park. Has since totalled over 150 appearances and played in all three recent Wembley Finals. An injury in a county senior cup game has kept him out of the side since January 1995 and is still fighting to regain full fitness.

Jason SOLOMAN (Midfield) Born Welwyn 6.10.70. Began his football as a trainee at Watford -making his League debut in March 1991. Went on to make over 100 Football League appearances for Watford. Joined Wycombe in March 1995 following a short loan spell at Peterborough. Has made limited appearances for Wycombe - usually being the regular named substitute.

Steve McGAVIN (Forward) Born Walsham 24.1.69. Signed by Wycombe for a Club record fee of £140,000 in March 1995 from Birmingham City. 14 months previous he had moved to St.Andrews from Colchester United for a £150,000 fee. Made 58 League appearances for the Layer Road side - scoring 17 times. Has failed to find his feet at Wycombe, scoring just twice in 12 appearances before the start of this season. Usually keeps Soloman company on the bench this season.

John WILLIAMS (Forward) Born Birmingham 11.5.68. Since his move from Coventry City in October 1995, Williams has failed to live up to expectations. Previously at non-League Cradley Town. One of the fastest players in the Football League.

Micky BELL (Defender/Forward) Born Newcastle 15.11.71. Began his footbal as a trainee with Northampton Town and went on to make 153 League appearances, scoring 10 goals between 1989 and 1994. Joined the Wanderers in October 1994 for a £35,000 fee. Has now made over 50 League appearances for the Chairboys.

Dave FARRELL (Forward) Born Birmingham 11.11.71. One of Alan Smith's first major signings - a £100,000 deal bringing him from Aston Villa where he was on the fringe of first team football for 3 years.

Anthony CLARK (Forward) Born London 7.4.77. A Wycombe youth player who was given a full time contract at the end of last season and is now on the verge of a regular spot in the first team. Made his Football League debut in the final game of last season at Leyton Orient.

Simon GARNER (Forward) Born Boston 23.11.59. Since joining Wycombe on a free transfer from West Brom in February 1994 has become a fans favourite at Adams Park with his unique skills and flair. A prolific scorer at Blackburn Rovers with a record breaking 192 goals in 565 games in a spell between 1978 and 1987. Has since made over 70 apperances for Wycombe scored 23 times.

Miquel DESOUZA (Forward) Born Newham 11.2.70. Began this season with 8 goals in 7 games and attracted the interests of First and Premier League clubs. 3 goals in the next 18 games has calmed down this interest but he still has a potential for greater things. Joined Wycombe in a £50,000 deal with Birmingham City in January 1995, scoring 6 goals in his first 7 games before injury forced him to miss the rest of the season. Previously had spells with Charlton, Yeovil, Dorchester, Bashley and Dagenham and Redbridge.
